"Really got the job done quickly. Alex was a pleasure to meet and enjoyed his time here. He did a great job in general. I didn't specify patching before painting, so that is my bad. Overall, a great company to get your job done."

"Would love to be able to upload pictures. Had a 5'x5' area where a tornado tore the shingles and felt off a few months ago (with waterproof emergency cover applied) and needed that area repaired, repair 2 leaks (one from nail pops from the storm and one that had a bad transition from the 4/12 pitch to a 1/12 (or so) flat roof. After the repairs were made, they would do a general roof tune-up, and then the Roof Maxx oil treatment would be applied. Roof Maxx Anniston took sample shingles, scheduled to do the work, but selected the wrong size of shingles, and then did a horrible repair. It really would be beneficial if photos could be uploaded. They bent the facia and then screwed in large head bolts on the gable end of the roof --- it looks horrible; the new shingles do not overlap the edge of the slope like the existing shingles do, and on and on. The repaired area looks like it is an area that NEEDS to be repaired, not one that Roof Maxx Annniston had already repaired. He later admitted he had never installed a roof and got in way over his head. The appointment was scheduled for 9-1pm. He and his brother did not come off the roof until well after dark, 8:15pm or so, so I could not see the "finished product". The next morning, in the daylight, I went out and could not believe the butchered job and that they had the nerve to say they were finished and implied that it was acceptable, complete and up to standards. Not even close. I stopped payment on the check the next business day immediately notified Roof Maxx Anniston by email and text including pictures. We spoke on the phone later in the afternoon and he later sent another roofer out who agreed -- it was a horrible job, needed to be reworked, and also mentioned that the wrong shingles had been selected. The other roofer said he would check to see if the shingles were available but could not find them locally, so he suggested I re-open the claim with State Farm to see if they could find them, so we are in that process now. Had Roof Maxx Anniston either sent an experienced roofer out to do the repair, or had roofing repair experience themselves, they would have immediately known that they had selected the wrong shingles, and put everything on hold. I reopened the claim with State Farm the day after the 2nd roofer was sent out. However, the next week, we received a call from our credit union, telling us that a Michael Shane Sparks went to the credit union and knowingly tried to cash the check that he knew had a stop payment order on it. I had notified him by email, text and we had spoken on the phone. Thankfully, the bank did not process the check. Roof Maxx Anniston is NOT someone that you should let up on your roof if you need repairs. They may be fine to just spray the treatment on a roof, but do NOT use them to make any repairs. Again, I'd like to upload photos so potential customers could see their "finished" work. Even the roofer they sent out agreed that the job was botched and needed to be re-done --- with the proper size shingles. I had even brought an architect friend of mine up to see the process --- but of course he couldn't see it because they were to do the repair area first and had no idea how to do it and spent HOURS doing an approximately 25sq foot repair. Roof Maxx Anniston is NOT a company I would recommend. I have now asked, repeatedly, by phone and email for their contracting license number so I could upload photos of their work to the licensing folks, but he has not provided it. I called Roof Maxx corporate last week and send them a full description and 10+ photos and was told by Holly Smith that they would contact me today (Monday) but I have not received a call or email. I wish I had seen a review like this before doing any work with Roof Maxx Anniston. I would be happy to upload photos taken the morning afte..."

"Perfect. I enjoyed getting to sit in the storm shelters at their showroom to help with size selection. After signing up for the install, they connect you to an online portal to manage the contract and to update building permit number, etc. Installation was prompt and clean."

"Subcontractors were mostly good, but management of them was lacking. I had to personally supervise them because the on site contractor rarely stayed very long. Told the trim finish crew to leave because they did not know how to install crown molding. Got another crew that knew what they were doing. They never asked for periodic payments during the job (as is typical); presented one huge bill at the end. Holland homes builds nice homes, but I would not recommend them for small jobs like mine because you do not get the best crews and you have to wait for them to fit you into their schedule."

"We contacted Mr Groves and scheduled an estimate consultation, he didn't show up for this appointment and I had to call him to reschedule. 30 minutes after he came to our house and gave us an estimate he called me to say he was running late, I reminded him that he had just been there. He said that the coupons on this site were no longer valid. We signed the contract for roof and gutter replacement and schedule a date for the roof to be replaced. A week before our scheduled roofing Mr. Groves called e to say that he would be out to give me an estimate for our roof. I called him back and reminded him that he already had and that we were scheduled for the roof to be replaced, he assured me that he would be there on the scheduled day. His crew showed up and did a great job on the roof. We asked when the gutters would be done and were told in a few days. We explained that we needed to know when the work would be done as we have two big dogs and needed to be home to keep them inside while the work was being done. I had to contact the company again a week later to ask when the work would be done, was told that they would return my call and let me know. I had to call back the next day and was told that the gutter guy hadn't given them a day yet but that they would let me know prior to the work being done. A week after that men showed up in my driveway, fortunately I was off but had planned on going out that day. I had to cancel my plans and stay home to keep my dogs inside. The downspouts were not placed where y husband wanted and he had discussed this with Mr. Groves when he gave us our estimate. The gutters are black but you can see white on them so we will have to paint them. I contacted Mr. Groves to let him know that we were not happy with the job, he said he would talk to his project manager and get back with me. 2 weeks have passed and still no word back from him. I paid him for the work but would not recommend him to anyone else. Obviously he doesn't care that the work was ot done to our specifications nor that we are unhappy with the job."

FAQs for metal roofing repair projects in Lineville, AL

Maintaining your soffit is essential. You must inspect it twice yearly to catch any clear signs of deterioration. Look for cracks, mold, rotted wood, sagging sections, chipped paint, or missing boards. If these issues are detected, contact a professional immediately to repair or replace the damaged soffit and protect your home’s structural integrity.

To maintain your fascia boards and soffits, inspect them regularly to protect your roof and home's structure. Clean your gutters to remove debris and prevent moisture buildup. Repaint any damaged sections to keep moisture at bay. Upgrading drip edges and vents improves airflow and dispels moisture efficiently, helping you avoid severe damage and costly repairs.

While installing a new soffit over an existing soffit isn't common, it may be necessary in some older homes. If removing the original soffit could damage delicate structures, a professional might recommend installing the new soffit without complete removal. Always consult a qualified professional to assess the condition and ensure this method is safe and effective.

When hiring someone for soffit and fascia repair, choose a specialist with proven roofing and gutter systems expertise. A knowledgeable contractor will thoroughly inspect your home and provide a straightforward repair or replacement plan. Check online reviews and ask for references to ensure you receive high-quality service that delivers lasting results and strong protection for your home.
