"They were very nice and professional. But I was having a mole problem and wanted some lawn service, but for everything it was like $2600  a year, but called him back and told him it was out of my price range. They didn't charge me anything it was just an estimate. they came out and looked at the property and told me what I needed. Apparently I had several moles and hard to get rid of. Initial treatment was fine about $110 he was going to lay some traps, but what I didn't like it was going to be $89 after that every 45 days for maintenance."

"Jake called me the day after I purchased the special to set up a day/time. He and his crew of 2 others were able to come a day earlier than expected because the weather cooperated. It was lovely surprise to come home to a leaf free yard (front, back, and side) as they were finishing up! Mark, the crew supervisor, made sure that I was pleased with their work before paying the balance of the cost. He provided some ideas for landscaping my side yard which was overgrown with weeds, leaves, and stray ivy. Overall, they did a fantastic job in a professional manner. Would definitely use this company again!"

"We obtained several opinions and quotes, and decided to go with Mark and his team because they provided several solutions for the issue: 1) Install pipe underground that connected our sump pump output to a pop-up at the bottom of the yard, so that water from the sump pump could no longer saturate the lawn 2) plant topsoil and grass, so that the water had a place to go instead of just washing the mud down the hill, and 3) redo the concrete step at the base of our walkway with a gradient so that water would no longer collect there. All three solutions worked. We have since had two storms and our walkway has remained puddle and mud-free. Furthermore, Mark was very professional. Proactive communication, arrived on-time as expected. Called before he came by. Mark proved to be trustworthy, and followed-through on everything he said he would do. I highly recommend Mark's Lawn & Landscape!"

From the beginning of talking to Jim Wilburn, the Owner of Ace, to the Lawn Service with Kevin, it has been a great experience.  Jim is very understanding and helped me to decide what service worked best for our lawn.  He has made adjustments as necessary throughout the season.

Kevin provides weekly service our lawn.  He assesses the lawn each week and provides the care that is needed.  Our lawn is beautiful when he is done.  He is the best!!

This is the first time we have needed a Lawn Care Service and I am so happy to be working with Ace Lawn and Landscaping.

"This experience was ok but definitely not great. We will not be using Wainwright again. Overall, we are very happy with the quality of the work done and the cost. We surveyed a number of different landscapers and Wainwright provided the best ideas and cost. The work on the patio was impeccable. We really appreciated the attention to detail in cutting the paver stones to fit perfectly around the deck posts that are in the ground and that an appropriate slope slanting away from the home was created to ensure proper draining during rain. They also took the time to stabilize one of the deck posts that had not been properly secured in the ground when the previous owners had a brick patio very poorly installed. 
The negative issues we had with Wainwright primarily center around communication. It often took days to hear back from them and it was difficult to to get information out of them. We often found ourselves having to call them to get updates on how the work was going. Although they were always polite and professional when we did connect with them, it was like pulling teeth to get them to tell us anything. We had to call to find out when the final day of work would be so that we'd know when to be home to do an inspection of the completed work. We even had to be the ones to ask about how final payment would be done. It was like they just expected us to assume that a bill would come in the mail (not the case with many contractors who expect to be paid on the final day of work after you have given your approval on the completed job). 
Overall, we were pleased with the work done but not so much with customer service aspect of the business. 
Additional information: During the week of March 11, 2013 we scheduled a 10:00am consultation for Monday March 18, 2013 to get a quote from Wainwright for work on our front yard that we want to have done this spring. It is currently 12:10pm on 3/18/13 as I write this review and they never showed  up and never called to say they'd be late, needed to cancel, etc. Since this is no surprise to us, we have not called them to see what happened. We were willing to deal with the poor communication another time to get the quality work and price again but this is really disappointing and further emphasizes that they do not put a priority on communication and customer service.

"Great. The guy showed up right on time. He worked the full 8 hours I paid for and put in a solid's days work for a solid day's pay. He hauled away all the weeds and clipping and the lot was clean when he left. I would recommend Kelley Lawn and Landscape!"
