"When the roof of my home showed signs of wind and hail damage, I asked a friend which company she had used to replace her roof a few years earlier. She said her insurance company had recommended JZ Roofing and that she was happy with the work they had done. I called JZ and spoke with the owner, Jose Rodriguez, and arranged for a free roof inspection. Jose found sufficient hail damage to warrant an insurance claim and walked me through the entire process. Even though the insurance adjuster made an appointment to check the roof on a Sunday, Jose made himself available to be here with the adjuster to go over his findings. I am the first to admit that I am a very indecisive person, so choosing a color for the shingles was pretty difficult for me. Jose went out of his way to help me make the right decision. First, he brought over samples for me to look at, then he gave me nearby addresses of houses he had done, using the colors I was considering, so I could see what they looked like on actual homes. When I finally made a choice and the shingles were delivered, Jose even came out to place a few shingles on my roof so I would feel sure of my decision. I couldn't believe how patient he was. The roof had 2 layers of shingles from previous jobs. Jose's team removed the old shingles and had the new roof in place in a day and a half. The best part was, JZ does more than just roofing jobs, so they were able to paint my porch railings and garage door as well as repair/replace my wooden fence without my having to find another contractor. JZ completed everything in a timely manner and I am very happy with the results. Jose was great to work with and made the whole process very easy for me. I would definitely recommend this company."

"This is to put on record our complete satisfaction with and gratitude to Chris Dixon of Capital Home Improvements for fixing what seemed to be an unfixable leak around the chimney in our roof. This is going to be a long story, but since it has a happy ending, I hope you will humor me by reading it! First, although he was booked up with replacing roofs affected by the latest hailstorm in the area, Chris called us about our problem as soon as he heard from Home Advisor--which was immediately. He came out late that same afternoon. He and his assistant looked at the flashing and the leak stains in the ceiling, found a gap where water seemed to be coming in, and poured a little water in it to verify the problem. Then they simply sealed the flashing at the leak point! Since then we’ve had days of sometimes very hard rain, and the leaking has not recurred. The reason we are so pleased with this repair is that ever since we replaced the cedar shake roof around 2001, the chimney has leaked. The original contractor came back two or three times trying to fix it but the leaking continued. We had another contractor in to fix it sometime around 2007, but after several attempts he was also unable to fix the leaks. A hailstorm last year totaled the roof, and we had someone on Angie’s List replace it, telling them about the old leak. They checked the flashing, said it looked good, put new sealant in various places, and assured us that would fix it. It worked until we had another severe rainstorm, when leaking resumed. We asked the roofer to come back and fix it, but he said he’d done everything he could and couldn’t help us. That’s when we got in touch with Chris, through Home Advisor, with the results I’ve described above. It took Chris and his assistant maybe ten minutes to figure out the problem and fix it! It seems like a near miracle to have this seemingly perpetual problem fixed. With a trusted professional like Chris to advise us in future, we feel confident that we can finally replace the damaged ceiling and check for mold or other incipient problems. You cannot imagine how relieved—even overjoyed!—we are to have this seemingly insolvable problem solved!"

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"We had 1 issue after installation and they came out right away & fixed it. Great attitudes and were on time as scheduled. Very professional crew. We had just remodeled the basement for 1100 sq ft living space to be added to the home, so I didn’t expect the basement to be such a mess afterwards, so would recommend them emphasize that the client will be cleaning all that up after the install. Very messy after the foundation was dug up around the whole inside perimeter. We still haven’t had the money to replace the new flooring that was pulled up. I should have paid more attention to the contract. That’s on me, not them."
