"Flavio is one of the best carpenters ive met in over 30 years....He has done multiple projects for me and i have many going on...from crown molding on kitchen cabs to adding new windows, to new decks, repairing window sils and even siding a cinderblock building with vinyl siding.... I have built 2 homes and refurbished one home and have worked with numerous contractors...and i can tell you first hand that Flavio is one of the Best..He gives creative advice..hes very reliable...he works as if it his own project...and never skips or takes any shortcuts...cuz i literally stand thete the whole time... It's just Amazing to watch him work for i am always so nervous but as soon as he moves you can see he has his #*@% together....and you feel confident and overjoyed that this man is the real deal and your job is getting done right!.....You can see immediately that he has the knowledge and experience...and can fix Anything! "I hired the company to replace all the vinyl siding on my house and replace four windows. The crew completed the job in four strait 10+ hour days. The crew did exceptional work and asked me questions throughout the project to make sure the project would be completed to my satisfaction. The company was in touch with me regularly to make sure everything was proceeding according to plan. I was very satisfied with the quality of the work and the final outcome."

"TLDR; Marshall Building does great work and genuinely cares about providing quality service to their customers. I had Marshall Building re-do the siding on my house. This was a large job: 3500+ sqft of siding, multiple levels, and new gutters with installed gutter guards. Given the size and cost of the project I put the bid out to 7 companies. Their quote came in the middle of the pack. You are not getting the price you would from a guy with a truck…but also they have the warranties and clout to back up their price. The co-founder Dave Marshall is the one who came to inspect the house and provide the quote. He was very knowledgeable, answered my questions plainly, and while definitely a salesman, he didn’t try to keep up-selling me. The two major reasons I chose Marshall over the other six companies: 1) They have the expertise to ensure a great final product and warranties to back them up and 2) The genuinely care about providing quality service. There did end up being a miscommunication with the job. I had specifically requested that a Tyvek Vapor Barrier be placed over the existing siding, then a 3/8” foam board, then the new vinyl siding. I was warned that this would result in some aesthetic problems, but I was stubborn and wanted it. I’m a function over form kind of person. When the work started, I didn’t think to check that they used the extra layer of foam board. It turns out they did not. I was livid. I wrote an email trying to get an answer as to why. Shortly, I received emails and calls from both the project manager Taylor and the co-founder Dave. They apologized for the miscommunication, promised to track down how it happened and ensure policy fixes would be made to make sure it didn’t happen again, they were even willing to strip the siding and re-do the job as I wanted. But they also explained that there was no functional benefit for the foam in my case, and that not only would it result in aesthetic issues (sunken windows, etc.) it would reduce some of the functional aspects of the siding (water tightness due to artificially inflating the size of the channels needed to cover the extra 3/8”. Etc.). Doing independent research, they were right. Going over smooth existing wood siding, it is better to just have the vapor barrier. I just wanted the foam panels because one of the other company’s sales person told me how invaluable they were. And the job came out great. Pictures attached. But what really what compelled me to write this review is how they handled our miscommunication. By all objective accounts, I was in the wrong. I wanted something that was not in the best interest of my house. And I was a bit of a jerk about it. But they were quick to respond, there was no passing me off to someone else to have me repeat my complaint, I was met with sincere empathy that I was not happy and a willingness to find a resolution. All the while maintaining an integrity of ensuring that I receive a quality product. So if you want quality service, Marshall Building is the way to go."

"R&R Roofing replaced the roofing at home this September, 2021. Richard Rossi toured the site with me and clearly detailed the work to be done and the reasons for the specific choices and materials. He answered my questions without prevarication. The work was scheduled the week before, and was started and completed on the scheduled day. The roof looks great and easily passed its first rainy day. The crew were extremely conscientious not only about installing the roofing, but also in their consideration for the gardens, grounds, and driveway. There was no damage to the flowerbeds or to the lawn. There was not a nail or shred of roofing material or its packaging anywhere on the site when they left. R&R Roofing installed the previous roofing 23 years ago. I expect this new one to last just as long."

"The demo and installation of the new siding were completed with much care and precision! The windows were flawlessly installed in 5 hours! Quick and painless. So very happy we went with Power Home Remodwing! Will definitely call them in the future for what we didn't do this go around !!"

"Ocean Break Remodel started our renovations in the Fall of 2020. Peter and his crew tore down our existing front porch and steps and replaced it with a new construction with trex decking and vinyl railings and posts. Their work was outstanding. Later that Fall they removed our hot tub in our master bathroom and replaced it with a beautiful fully tiled walk in shower. It came out wonderful. They also put down waterproof vinyl flooring in both of our bathrooms. They installed backsplash on the two long walls of our kitchen. Each task - OUTSTANDING work. This past two weeks (June 2021), they painted our utility room, kitchen ad dining room, put new waterproof vinyl flooring in the kitchen and utility room. This past two weeks they also built us a new deck (20' x 25') of gray trex decking with white vinyl railings and posts. Our new deck is fantastic. We are more, more than totally satisfied with Peter of Ocean Break Construction/Remodel. I can not express enough for Peter and his crew. They are a pleasure to work with, they are very punctual, clean and hard working."

"Very prompt and organized. Andrea came out during the day while they were working on the roof to check on progress and to see if there were any questions. She also followed up by email to see if we had any questions and was very transparent on the extra cost of having to replace some of the decking. Will definitely use them again in the future if need be!"
