"I hired Bob Phalan for repairs and renovation of a rental unit in Dorchester that had wear and tear from multiple tenants. Bob worked on replacing exterior clapboards, renovating the bathroom with new tiles, replacing bathroom rotten wood frame window with a vinyl frame, installing new light fixtures and repairing bathroom plumbing, repairing torn screens, as well as repainting all walls and trim throughout the unit. He also plastered damaged ceilings and cleaned and organized the basement storage area. Bob arrived early each day and worked diligently. Bob is a good problem solver and can suggest ways to do repairs for the best outcome while keeping costs down. I would definitely hire him again."

"Roof repairs were done sufficiently. Great service. I recommend Mighty Dog Roofing for any repairs or new roof."

"The Evolution Paint team painted the exterior of our home (30-year-old clapboard wood) and replaced all the trim with plastic lumber. The team is very hardworking and thorough, as well as polite and neat. They exceeded expectations. We would definitely recommend hiring them."

"TJ installed three exterior doors in the house I recently moved to. We were suspicious of a lot of rot under the doors, especially the large front door, and wanted to make sure new doors were not just installed, but the entire framing repaired and replaced before new doors went in. TJ measured everything before his estimate (which was highly detailed and accurate) and came back to confirm measurements before ordering materials. He completed the work in the exact timeline he had given us, and was great at communicating over text and phone calls. He found and repaired the rot under the front door, and then repaired and installed two normal sized exterior doors, including our basement door which was a mess to begin with. TJ also had to deal with some not-so-great flooring installation from the previous owners, and he made it work. The floor looks great, you could never tell there was a 3ft by 5ft section removed and repaired just a day before. With TJ's help, we were able to custom order the exact door style we wanted, and he helped us with some design and materials choices. The house has been given an incredible facelift, and I feel so much better knowing the doors are safe and sturdy. TJ was extremely courteous and thoughtful in his work. He left the work area and property looking immaculate each day he worked with us. He was also very conscientious with our dog, which I appreciated. I have received massive compliments on all the doors, and will be working with TJ again for our deck this summer. We signed the contract with confidence and excitement because TJ's results are very professional and will certainly last a lifetime."

"Tony and team replaced 5 doors, patched exterior siding, replaced rotten roof eaves, and painted everything. A really great job, and timely done. They left everything very clean."

"Twombly Home Improvement has done many projects for me; Remodeled a bathroom, erected a gazebo from scratch, repaired a collapsed roof, did wood rot repair around window sills and foundation, did some painting, and other work. Stephen provides great attention to detail, his estimates and final work costs are extremely competitive, he truly cares about his work and most importantly, he is very trustworthy."

"I recently hired Paul Dwyer for some repairs and small projects around my home, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the quality of work. From our first conversation, he was professional, punctual, and very easy to communicate with. He arrived on time, brought all the necessary tools, and got straight to work. He handled everything with skill and attention to detail. What really stood out was his workmanship. He made sure everything was done right the first time and left the workspace spotless. His pricing was fair and transparent, with no hidden charges, and he even gave me tips on how to maintain the repairs for the long term."
