"I will say the gentleman I dealt with from Cronkhite was very personable and professional. We met twice - once for him to look at the deck and take measurements, and again a week or so later so he could give me the price quote - and he was on time, or close to on time, for both appointments. For me this was strictly an issue with pricing. I wanted a cover over my approximately 10x12 deck. He provided me with a quote of $6,224 for an aluminum cover (this included rain gutters, etc. - it would have been a very nice cover judging from the photo examples he showed me). But 4 years ago a metal roof for my entire house installed by Sundown Exteriors was only $8,955. Granted, I don't have a huge house - two bedroom, one bath, one story - but I just couldn't justify spending almost 70% of the cost of my entire roof for a deck cover. But if you have the money to spend, I'm sure they do very nice work."

"Joe and his crew did an awesome job on tearing out my old bathtub/shower combo and replacing it with a new one. They also finished the drywall above the tub, installed trim around the ceiling, and installed baseboards throughout the bathroom. It went fine. Dave came to Peoria to do our job and did a very good job on the doors. I was not the supervisor but was told everything was done according to the condo boards liking and that right there tells me the most because we have some board members who expect high quality work and they got it . Dave the owner is someone who will not accept any work associated with his company AOM or his name be anything but top of the line. As I said before he is very good at what he does . He came here to refinish the entrance way on the front of the our building Chateau Touraine. He sanded off all the old stuff and put new stain and sealer on the doors and spruced up the wood areas around and above the main doors. The whole area is now back to what it use to be. I am not sure when the doors were installed but I know they are back to looking almost new again. I guessed that the doors are about 12-15 years old. Like I said before Dave and his employees are always there to please and have hit a home run with us again. I am sure that I will be hiring AOM again to do more work in my condo and I am sure the condo board will be doing the same. If you need a company that does many different things then give AOM a call and see what you think.

"This company did an excellent job of staining our deck. They gave a very competitive price that we were pleased with. Their bid was actually half of other companies. Very friendly and attentive to our questions. When they were done they cleaned up and returned everything to its place where they had moved it from. We will definitely have them returning when we need their services again. They do about any type of handyman work. Welding, carpentry, painting, staining, etc."

"Steve and crew did a fantastic job remodeling my bathroom and making it handicap accessible. My Dad is moving back home with me after recovering from hip surgery and has some mobility challenges so I was needing something a little more than your standard remodel. However, Steve and team were able to come up with the right solution pretty much on their own. The number of and placement of handicap bars is spot on. Other details like the color of tile and layout were decided by Steve and crew, which turned out beautifully. Steve was very flexible working with my schedule and dealing with any changes that came up during the project. He did a great job adjusting to those changes, relaying to his workers what should be done, and coming up with cost-effective and practical solutions where alterations were needed or problems arose. Steve is not only passionate about what he does but when you add in the high quality of workmanship and affordable price together it makes for a very satisfying total experience. The bathroom remodel was completed satisfactorily and within the needed time frame. I highly recommend Steve for bathroom remodeling and/or probably any thing else his team does because they all did a superb job! - Randy"

"At first I wanted Adam to construct a white vinyl or composite deck. He brought over some samples which were very nice but when I found out that the vinyl deck would be twice the money as a wood deck, I changed my mind. He told me I would be happy with a wood deck and he was right. He built a quality deck in only a couple of days that is sturdy, solid and beautiful. He made two sets of stairs that are also very sturdy with beautiful gates to keep my dog and cats contained. He next put in a dishwasher by cutting out a cabinet. He used the cabinet wood to make moldings around the opening. It fits very nicely. He installed a garbage disposal and thought it should have its own power source from the dishwasher so there would be no blown fuses when I ran both at the same time. After the deck was finished, he put in a fence around the backyard with two gates. He did a fantastic job with the fence. He then cut through the wall in the hall and hollowed out a area to put in a linen closet. He then build the shell of the closet at home, painted it and fit it in to the hole. He finished with the molding and installed a 6 panel door that closed with a magnet. It backs up to another closet which he finished off with a rod and shelf. Overall, I am so pleased with his work. He is a perfectionist and told me to call in a couple of weeks if there was anything at all that I didn't like. He does quality work and I wouldn't think of using anyone else for any future remodeling or new construction. I would also like to add that that his helper, Terry, was great and very knowledgable.
