"I contacted them through their website, and they (wife) got back to me that same day with questions about the project.  We corresponded through email and phone calls regarding the project and what it entailed.  They (husband & wife) offered me choices and pricing before they even came out to see the yard.  I also got estimates from one other fencing company who came out and talked with me about all my options.  (They were great, too.) <br /> I went on vacation and told them when I'd be back.  While we were on vacation, we decided on the type of fence and the company we wanted to work with.  We chose to work with Houlihan because it's a family-run, small business with pricing similar to the bigger fencing company I talked to.  They called me a couple days after I got back and were able to start the next day!  (Our backyard utilities are all in the air, so they didn't have to wait on the utility marking company.)  And their plan was to have it done in one day. <br /> They sent 2-3 people in to do the job the first day - digging holes, setting poles in concrete, etc.  The team left shortly after 2pm, left all their stuff (& a bit of a mess), plus their trailer in my driveway.  The fence was not completed.  But the owner came back by 5pm, cleaned everything up, and took the trailer.  If I worked full-time, I wouldn't have known about the mess.  The crew came back the next day, and the fence was finished that day.  The owner came back to inspect everything and noticed a problem with the gate latch and a few minor things that we hadn't noticed.  He had a plan to have it fixed the following business day, and it was done early in the day. <br /> We love our new fence.  It keeps our small dog safely inside our yard.  The owner was great!  While he over-promised on timing, he's friendly and very thorough.  I am confident that the work was done thoughtfully at high standards.  I would use him and his company again. <br />"

We are going to use him again for property boundary line change between me and my neighbor.  So happy we found a survey man we are comfortable with.  We did not have to ask questions because he was so detailed and it answered every question we had in our mind! <br />"

"Lance was quick to call back, and came right away to give written estimate along with proof of insurance, etc., within 1 day scheduled the service.  Came today. Asked us to move aour truck from the driveway and began on the pin oak.  I went out to go somewhere when they were half through, and they stopped me and asked how it looked.  When I returned an hour or so later, they asked again how I liked it and if it was as I had requested.  Then they called me out when the trimming was completed and asked once more if it was done to my satisfaction. They cleaned up everything and  were very friendly.  We would definitely recommend this business! <br />"

He was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, & honest in what would be required for the job, not trying to sell us more services than we needed. "Juan and his team were excellent. Removing wallpaper can be tricky as you never know how hard it will be until you start pulling it off. Juan gave me an estimate for both easy and difficult removal. When the job was complete, Juan told me it had come off relatively easily and charged me the lower bid. I appreciated his honesty as I would never had known otherwise if he had said it was very hard to remove it. They patched and smoothed the walls where needed before painting. I chose a color I ended up hating once it was on the walls and the team didn't give any indication of frustration when I asked to choose a new color (of course, I did have to pay extra because of this, as would be expected). Juan also gave helpful suggestions about what colors might look good with the woodwork in the room. I decided on a new color and I love it. They did an excellent job."

"After calling their office a gentleman came out to give us a bid. That happened in just a matter of days. We accepted the bid and the work was to be done on Aug. 24 but they called on Aug. 15th to say they could do the work the next day. Three young men came out yesterday ready to work. They were friendly and we discussed the details of the work. After watching for awhile I could tell they had the skills and knowledge of the work. They cleaned up the area when they finished. Also they fixed two gates that were difficult to open and one would not lock. I was impressed with their work and would definitely hire again!"
