"All of his work met and exceeded all of my expectations. He went above and beyond to get a special rose bush that I wanted. That rose bush now has its first bud opening and I am very excited to see it in full bloom. "

"Ecosystems Services responded quickly to my call about our irrigation system leak and performed a quick but complete repair. When asked about the charges for the repair David Robertson responded that there would be no charge. He indicated that the leak had occurred in an area that he had previously fixed. Since he has been taking care of our irrigation system since we moved here in 2013, it could be true that he might have done similar repair in the past, but I did not recall it. I also don't remember any warranty promised or expressed by David for any of his work. The loyalty to this customer and integrity shown here speaks for itself. I would not use any other lawn irrigation business as long as I can call on Ecosystems Services, Inc."

"Problem was discussed over the phone about a possible valve or solenoid issue. Quoted price of $100.00/hr or 140.00/hr if 2 techs are required and a trip charge of 39.00. Didn't mention anything about a minimum charge of 1 hr. Didn't mention how many techs would appear. Valve/solenoid was fine. It was closed by previous sprinkler repair person. Simple fix for 5 minutes time of turning the knob on the valve. Total bill - $179.00. 2nd tech did nothing. I was told that I could pay $299.00 for a maintenance agreement. I argued that the 2nd tech did nothing and no one stated that there was a minimum charge of 1 hr. Seems like a valve/solenoid issue is a one person job but maybe things are slow. The rest of the hour was wasted since Josh and the other technician left. Guess they could have reviewed the rest of the other 5 zones and adjust sprinkler heads or something. I was looking for a sprinkler repair company for future repairs/project. I won't be using this company."

"They do not treat lawns. They are a complete rip off. Rep explained that they only treat grass - not weeds. They applied treatment to increase weed growth without addressing the weeds. They target naive homeowner's with false promises only to create more problems. What's the purpose of lawn treatment to increase weed growth? Very unethical. "

"IF I COULD GIVE THEM A ZERO (or negative number) I WOULD. Hired them in May 2025 to help with what were some issues we had with a Zoysia lawn. We were never told that we were late to enter their schedule and that would limit their ability to treat our lawn for it's specific needs. But a crabgrass issue went from being a minor issue to an extreme issue where crabgrass has taken over our lawn. Seriously, what lawn treatment company can't get rid of crabgrass in a 4 month period of time (according to Google it should take 4-6 weeks to get rid of or show improvement after treating for crabgrass)?!?! Furthermore what company completely ignores the specific issue a lawn has and just follows the "program". I have actually been told at a most recent visit from an AllTurf rep that I need to re-sod my entire lawn. In addition, the messaging that this company provides does not agree with what the supervisors have assessed. In July, I was informed that there was a cinch bug issue by the o"

"We had serious soil erosion and drainage issues at the front of our house & side yard - I had quotes & recommendation from several landscape companies - not only were the quotes very high, but I was not confident they were experienced enough in soil erosion/grading - everyone had a different idea about what to do... then I found Greg Horton! I called to explain our problem and when he came out to do a quote and provide his recommendations- I knew I had the right guy! He was knowledgeable, obviously experienced. He doesn’t through in unnecessary services or costs. Solved our serious drainage and erosion problems and went the extra mile in every way. Beyond pleased with our experience and can’t say enough about how great he is. I would not hesitate to use him again and definitely recommend his services!!!"

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Locust Grove, GA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
