He was knowledgeable about the special paint to use to avoid permanent scuff marks on the risers. Sam came to do the job. He was conscientious, efficient and took the time to even do a touch up on a few areas that a previous painter had messed up. I would definitely call Scott again if I need any painting done."

"Five Star Painting provided terrific customer service and was extremely great to work with. Due to many unfortunate circumstances, we needed this job to be started and completed in a time-sensitive fashion (started within 7 days). Multiple companies scoffed at our time frame, saying that they could not start and finish a project so quickly. Finally, I found Five Star Painting. Bob at Five Star Painting informed me that he would be able to make an exception due to our situation, despite the current typical start time of 14 days. He made the necessary accommodations and completed the work quickly and at the time that we agreed. The only downside was that the initial paint job was not as clean as I had hoped, with some paint splatters (spots) on the door and window frames and moldings. I called Bob to express my dismay, and he quickly rectified the situation in a timely fashion. He drove to our home and made sure that all the blemishes were corrected and the paint job was truly pristine! It's easy to see that Bob runs a business where customer satisfaction is the top priority. I contacted him whenever I needed; never did I spend hours or days waiting for a reply. Communication was rapid and painless. He followed through on every agreement and commitment he made. Although the work was not perfect initially, he was quick to make amends and see that we were 100% satisfied. "James came in promising that he would do a great job. Well my 78 year old aunt paid him cash for the job and he didn’t give her a receipt even after requesting it many times. He keeps telling me that he will email it. He didn’t complete the job. I do not know where to start. The kitchen, he only painted 1 out of the four walls. He didn’t paint the walls to the trim in any of of the rooms The old paint shows through in many areas. He didn’t move a few pieces of furniture and so when we moved them there was an outline of the china cabinet. The stairway he didn’t go up to the ceiling. He was supposed to fix a piece of molding and didn’t. See photos for example. It has been 2 months since he painted the place. I have called many times asking him to come and complete the job. I gave him plenty of time to correct it and finish the job. A couple days shop he even told me he was there but had the wrong code to get in so I gave it to him again and he said he was at the store 5 minutes away. I gave him my realtors number if he needed help. He never went back nor did he contact her for assistance opening the lock. Now I have to hire someone else to complete the job. I also believe he charged me for 4 cams of paint but only brought 3 into the house. On the thing I had heard him tell his worker that was with him to leave the other can. I never saw them bring another can on the ring."
