Small jobs welcome

"I searched through Home Advisor for a plumber. My Service Pro came up and Mark called back in 5 minutes. Set a time later that day to install a sump pump. The job was completed in time with better equipment than I had in in the first place. He also installed a motor for an air exchanger that I had but had been unable to find one of the "big firms" to do. He's a master plumber, but also a first class individual. John S."

"We had an issue with our water conditioning system for Aquarius. They attempted to remedy the problem and determined they needed to replace the system. With the system being over 5 years old, I was uncertain what it would cost me, however, the only thing better than the equipment they provide is their customer service. No cost to replace with a better system. Now that is service!"

"My water heater failed and started leaking Thursday evening so I began researching plumbers (I have never needed to hire a plumber before). I put my needs into home advisor which suggested a couple plumbers to contact. The leak was very small (a drip every couple seconds), so I didn t want to bug someone at 9PM. I settled on calling in the morning. Within 30 minutes of my request, Dave gave me a call to check on the condition of my leak and ask me a few questions about my water heater. He was very helpful on the phone and was able to provide a fair priced quote based on the information and pictures I sent him. In less than 24 hours he had my water heater replaced. He provided great customer service and workmanship throughout the job. I will definitely hire him for my future plumbing needs. The whole experience put me at ease."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Long Lake, MN

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
