"Metro Hardwood floors recently refinished the hardwoods in my entire 2 bedroom 1950 ranch house which has both oak and fir floors. The fir floors in the kitchen had been buried under many layers of vinyl flooring for decades and were in rough shape with lots of staining and black adhesive residue. I was doubtful they could be improved to more then a rustic look but the crew at Metro did an impressive job restoring them to their former condition. The oak in the rest of the house was in decent shape to start but looks remarkably better with several stained areas completely removed. The perfect finish has gotten lots of complements already. Joseph was very professional, punctual and obviously takes pride in his work. He accommodated our very tight scheduling window and even tracked down some matching planks to fill in an area in the kitchen. "This autumn we remodeled our entire 1970 kitchen into a beautiful traditional style.
