"I will call this “The Good, The Bad and the Ugly review” as I am breaking this review into the 3 teams that we had – 2 very good and done quickly and 1 inferior with the most time spent at our house – thus the overall 3 star grade. The Good • Roofing Team – Grade: A. Efficient, good job, found virtually no nails or roofing materials on the ground • Gutters – Grade: A. One man crew but he knew what he was doing and provided good suggestions for modifying our water flow. The Bad • Siding & Window Team – Grade: C to D. Not sure how they were trained but they didn’t seem to understand some common construction basics. A few of the many examples – o They nailed the siding on wrong and had to start over. o They almost ripped the 120V electrical outlet off the house without turning off the breaker but it was the weekend and we happened to be in the garden and saw them. o Installed the dryer vent wrong twice – once painting it shut and the next time putting on a vent with a label on it saying “not for use with clothes dryers” due to the pre-installed screen. The Ugly • Siding & Window Team – Used caulk as touch up paint on LP Smartside (or just used the siding to clean off their dirty fingers?) – leaving random “chicken pox marks” all over new siding. Garage, driveway and all 4 sides of our house were filled with equipment and garbage for the length of the project. Not the crew to have if you have children or pets – they left old saw blades and other sharp objects around the garage entrance and the house. I didn’t expect a spotless home every night but I didn’t expect to be living with this much disarray with minimal clean up each night, even after asking the supervisor to improve pickup of at least garbage and sharp objects in the garage and the common walking paths. Nor did we expect to be spending our fall cleaning caulk off the “maintenance free” siding and re-painting it and installing our outside boxes correctly. I will give the owner credit for realizing that his siding and window crew did inferior work and giving us a discount on our bill. None-the-less, I am rating the services provided based on the quality of the work done."

"I am giving my rep, Raul, a 5 star rating. I am about to take the plunge and have my house re-sided for the first time ever! My home is 116 yrs old and has only been painted several times over the original wood. However, paint no longer will fix what is happening underneath, with dry rot, aging, etc., so my only option is to have it re-sided & almost start from scratch. I met with Raul, who is "awesome", to say the least. He is knowledgeable, explains everything to a "T" and is so down-to-earth. My old "farm" house is 2 stories, plus a walk-up attic, so this would have cost me a fortune as there is a lot of "territory" to be covered. It still is going to cost me a fortune, but Raul covered every crook & cranny to cut my costs immensely to make it affordable. I am so grateful for his assistance. Now, for the actual removal of the old wood and installation of the new siding...I may have to write another "review" when that actually happens...(to be continued!)."

"I was very impressed by the customer service person Daisy who came out looked over the project and sent in a bid as promised in a timely manner. Other contractor's looked at the project and I never heard back. Second the timing on getting the project scheduled and completed was well done. Took about 2 weeks from the estimate to completion. Given these busy times i thought that this was a fair wait. Third the workmanship was outstanding. I was concerned in replacing a portion of siding that the paint would not match and it would look like a repair. No worries the paint match was perfect. I will do business with this team again . "Adrian and his crew did a fantastic job. I was originally going to side the house myself, but I found summer dwindling and my time short. I called several companies and Adrian had the lowest cost, and could do the project with specific siding that I had picked out and already matched paint to. "We got a bid for two coats of very high quality paint and prep work. Everything was to be completed in about four days but we went through a two week period of rainy days so it did take longer. The good was that we had some bare wood that the crew would not paint until dry even though it was not convenient to them. We got a very competitive bid with a higher quality of paint and very good carpentry/repair work and we got everything bid. I would highly recommend Leon's Painting & Remodeling."

"Difficult job - in hind-sight, both doors should have been replaced. Original bid was for replacement of one of the doors and repair of the other.  The repairman decided to attempt repair of both doors.

"Everything went great! They were able to come out and do an estimate within a week or so. The work was scheduled out a few weeks after that and everything looks great. The workers were courteous and considerate of my property; they walked me thru the process as they were doing it and had me inspect the work before they left."
