"We selected this vendor bye reviewing a local Christian radio station's handyman listing and then by using Angie's List. They are listed on both. The vendor is a local family owned business. The initial call was answered promptly. The person was very upbeat, friendly, seemed extremely knowledgeable about repairs such as this. The person making the repair came by the house about an hour after the call. An estimate was given to repair each door individually. We authorized the repair and the handyman returned the next morning on time and with the materials needed to make the repair on the outer door. The handyman proceeded to remove the damaged outer door and frame. The repair was outstanding. He worked very deliberately. He took his time and made sure everything was lined up on the new door and frame. The cost was what he had estimated; $150 to remove the old door and frame and install the new ones plus the exact cost of the materials (door and frame). We are extremely pleased with the repair and will definitely use this vendor in the future. We have used several handyman services previously with the "normal" issues of not being on time, not having the material needed, poor quality of workmanship. There were no issues with this repair. We highly recommend their services."

"Once I called him Mr. Sexton set a prompt appointment, and kept it, to do an estimate for replacing the roof on our house. His contract was quickly accepted by the insurance company and work was scheduled to our satisfaction.  Because of predicted rain Mr. Sexton called us to see if they could do the job a day earlier, to which we quickly agreed.  His crew arrived about 8:30 in the morning, promptly went to work and finished before 5 PM.  They were very professional, taking precautions to not damage the yard, shrubs, and flowers.  All old roofing was picked up, nails were picked up by a roller magnet.  The roof looks very good.  I have waited over a month to be see if any high spots show, and for a rain to be sure there were no leaks before doing this review.  So far there has been no problem. <br /> We are very satisfied with Allen Sexton and his roofing crew; we have recommended them to our next door neighbor and they have already replaced her roof also.  Sexton Roofing is a very good local company working all local people who have stayed with the company for a long time."

"Steve is an excellent worker, he does exactly what is asked of him in a timely manner. The contractor (#@#@**and ) I originally hired to install a second bath in my home refused to put up the shower door, too meticulous, too hard he said. Steve installed the shower door and it is perfect !! Steve replaced a hose on the toilet ( the previous contractor put on) that was too short and in a crimp causing the toilet to take several minutes to fill up, he fixed the stopper in the bathroom sink that also was not previously installed properly. I wanted two light fixtures changed and he put the covers on my vent / fan light in both bathrooms along with the new light above the bathroom sink. The night before he arrived the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms started smoking. Steve checked it out to find the fan motor locked down, he installed a new ceiling fan. I cannot say enough about his work ethic. The jobs I have are small, (except the pain in the rear shower door),and most contractors would not want to deal with them but Steve did, he charged me by the hour and did not waste time about getting things done. I have several more odd jobs to be done and will definitely hire him again..... <br />"
