"I am impressed by the quality of work performed at my house. We bought a house in 2020 at Westlake in Crozeet. We wanted shower doors in our bathrooms and no curtains. Dobson Glass installed a shower door in our basement's bathroom, where the tub is rectangular. But in our guest's room's bathroom, interestingly, the edge of the tub is curved, therefore a round shower door was the only option. Those round doors are available at Home Depot. BUT, NO ENTITY IN THE EXTENDED CHARLOTTESVILLE AREA was interested in the project of installing such a door. In all my online searches, MR. POLLARD IS THE ONLY ONE, who called me, and who was willing to tackled the job. And he, and his team, did a fantastic job. They also repaired a heavy wood mantle over our fire place, which was falling. They fixed it without breaking the marble around it and without any visual marks as to where they put the nails. They performed other repairs around the house to our complete satisfaction. The men were diligent, hard working, polite and professional. We are planning future projects. I would hired Mr. Pollard and his team any time. I highly remommend him."

I initially hired him to install a sump pit, pump, and associated plumbing to replace the old floor drain system in our basement to prevent flooding during the heavy rains we can get in Virginia. Scott was very knowledgeable, came in with a practical solution at nearly half the cost of any competitor and had the work done within the month. The gentlemen he brought with him to do the digging and installation were a great group of guys. They were quick, professional, and cleaned up everything after they were done. The system ran perfectly. We also hired Scott to do put some electrical drops, and hired someone to do some paint work for us before listing our house to sell. Once again, the work was fast, he worked around our hectic schedule and we were more than satisfied. After we got our offer we had a few repairs that came up in the home inspection and we were able to use Scott as a reference to negotiate down on a few repairs as well! "The contractor, Lonestar Siding & Windows, was located by me on my first use of Angie's List in May.  My wife had wrecked her car pulling out of the garage, and damaged the aluminum trim around the garage door.  Lonestar e-mailed me within 24 hours of my inquiry, and they were onsite to give me an estimate in short order.  The estimate was so reasonable, and the company staff were so friendly and accomodating, that I approved the quote right away.  Knowing this was such a small job, I expected the company would forget about me while completing their much larger jobs.  I was definately wrong.  They called me yesterday, 6/17/15 and said they would be out that afternoon to remove and install the new trim.  When I got home, I couldn't believe my eyes.  The new installation was incredible...professionally done and absolutely perfect in every way.  I phoned the company receptionist right away and told her how pleased we were with their work.  I also advised her I would recommend their company to all my friends and neighbors.  All I can say is that this was the perfect contractor for the job, and if it weren't for Angie's List, I wouldn't have heard or known about Lonestar Siding & Windows.  Thank you Lonestar for everything!!  My garage again looks brand new! <br /> Joe Sands <br /> Manakin Sabot, VA <br />"

"Our home was was built in 1955 by a well known local architect and Mr. Noonon replaced a solid hardwood sill with rot. He also found that the flashing had failed and replaced it and waterproofed the area. The work he did matches the other 4 sills exactly. He also repaired the roof on a gazebo, others had said was irreparable. We would recommend him highly and will definintely engage his services again."

Courtney completed the work in one full day and two half-days. He was prompt, courteous, professional and a really hard worker. Working alone he accomplished an amazing amount in a short period and got all of the damage "paint ready", including a challenging family room ceiling with a stucco-look finish. Courtney worked very hard to match his work with the existing finishes and his work is terrific."

"Troy did a nice job, especially with the carpentry part of the job.  Troy found new railroad ties to replace parts that were beyond repair, but the lumber was hard to find because of its dimensions.  Troy finally found them in Madison, bought them after calling me to discuss price and quantity and then hauled them back.  The old rotted pieces were difficult to remove but Troy kept at it and did a really nice job installing the replacement pieces.  The repair work to the other rot was decent but would have been better if framed out temporarily while the concrete dried.  I told him though that I wasn't looking for perfect on that part -- just good enough to stop further rot and fill in the holes.  I had purchased a 4-hour deal through Angies List and Troy was trying to get done within the allotted time. <br />"
