"Mr. Handyman assessed the viability of structural supports. Ripped off old ceramic tile decking and Schulter matting which had been installed incorrectly by the original builder, Brentwood Builders, out of Nashville. Made repairs to plywood substructure, braced where needed, and put down weather proofing over the repaired spots. Installed concrete board and another weatherproofing mat over that. Then installed mortar bed with new tile and grout. They also tore off the rusted aluminum trim and replaced with new non-rusting material. We are quite pleased with the results. This firm was very conscientious for the most part and we do have to say that we interviewed a number of different contractors, but this was not an easy fix. Mr. Handyman was the first contractor who laid out a plan such that we felt he could do the job and as it turned out did it very well. <br /> It was important to be onsite during working hours as there were a number of questions that needed to be answered and tools to be lent in certain situations. <br /> We also asked Mr. Handyman for other references regarding the repair to the stucco failure on the house and so far we have been impressed."

"One of our better experiences with any contractor.  After a strong rain we found water coming in the garage under a glass block window.  Upon pulling off some of the dryall we found the entire structure holding up the glass blocks was rotted out.  C&L responded quickly to my phone call, gave us a good estimate and performed the work very professionally.  Their two employees--Ryan and Jeremy--kept the work area cleaned up as they went along.  They found a way to repair the rotted-out area without having to take down the entire glass block window, saving us almost $1000.  The drywall replacement and "mudding" was as good as any I've seen done. <br />"
