Get matched with top brick, stone or block wall repairers in Lovettsville, VA

"We recently hired Shamrock Chimney to repoint the brick walls on both of our bay windows and our front steps. We also had them perform a safety inspection and cleaning of our gas fireplace. Mr. Juan Ortiz was the company representative, and we found him to be extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. The repointing took approximately 7½ hours, and the results were exceptional. They carefully removed the old mortar, and the new mortar was matched perfectly to the existing brickwork. The bay window walls look like new again! They also completed a thorough safety inspection of our gas fireplace and did an excellent job cleaning the glass and fireplace. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the crew. I would definitely recommend Shamrock Chimney to anyone needing chimney, masonry, or fireplace services."

"We had cracks in the dyed mortar of the bricks above our garage. Grady took the time to match the color, even with the color having aged 10 years, and you would not even be able to tell that there was new mortar. If your project is anything like ours, you will not be disappointed."

"Although McCray was the cheapest, I was not satisfied with the job. I asked Kevin to come back to power wash the residue polymeric sand from the surface of the bricks. I will have to pay someone else to power wash the bricks laid by McCray."

"Flexible with our schedule. Indoor stone wall looks very nice"

"We contracted with Mottern about 10 years ago to have a retaining wall built to replace a poorly constructed wall holding up the driveway. The wall was block on footer and it has held beautifully. When we original had the wall built, we decided against covering it with decorative stone. Jeff told us at the time that they would come back and add it if we ever changed our mind. Here we are ten years later deciding to add the stone. We called Mottern because the wall they built has had no issues (previous iterations of the wall had plenty of issues). The stone covering job was done quickly and professionally and looks great. If you're looking for quality, Mottern is for you."

"Fernando evaluated a stone facade on my Colonial Beach, VA townhouse that had come loose due to poor builder construction. He matched the stone perfectly and repaired the original work to like new condition. He was responsive, timely, cost-competitive, and most importantly did grade A work. Would definitely hire for any future projects!"

"I found Stone River at the Leesburg Flower and Garden Show a couple years ago. Mo Singh was the man I worked with and he owns the Company. Mo was great to work with. He was very patient with me coming out a couple times to go over what the project would be with me. He was also very responsive every time I called. Mo ripped out the old steps and kept the existing stoop concrete pad. He formed out new steps and had solid concrete steps poured with rebar. He had a crew of about 5 guys doing the work. On top of the steps and the stoop they put flagstone. they didn't just put the 2'x3' flagstone down, they cut it into random sizes like 1'x1', 1'x2', etc.... The pattern they laid looks very nice. On the sides of the stoop and the front and sides of the steps they laid stone veneer that matches our chimney. He did a very good job matching the stone. The whole project only took 2 days. They cleaned up everything. Mo's crew was very good and they knew what they were doing. The steps and stoop look beautiful. I recommend Mo and his Team for your project.

"They cut the underground cable wire even though it was clearly marked and then took a long time to pay the company the cost to repair it."

"It went very well. Jeff was very accommodating, and did not complain when we changed our minds about the type of brick to be used. He started and finished when he said he would. His crew did such an excellent job on the front steps, we asked him to repair the basement walk-out. He doesn't work cheap, but the quality was first rate. We would recommend him without reservation."

"The guys were professional.  They arrived on time and did a good job.  No complaints at all.  Friendly group.  Repairs were reasonable and needed.
