"NEW Pitched and Flat Roof. Our home was built in 1860 and was in dire need of a new roof, with an active leak. When we were ready to move, they worked us into their busy schedule, right before the Labor Day Holiday weekend 2022. They started with the pitched roof, stripping off not only shingles, but metal seamed roofing as well some original cedar shake shingles from 1860 under the metal. Replacing many sheets of OSB. They started at 7:00AM, Sept. 1st Thursday morning and finished all pitched roofing with clean up by 8:00 PM that same day. Their crew they assigned to our home was amazing, talk about work ethic, not to mention quality workmanship. Sept. 2nd, Friday morning, the Flat Roofers arrived. Many companies refuse flat roof jobs. There is a definite science and engineering process to flat roof membrane application. The cost of OSB Board was a concern to us on our roof, knowing weâ d need additional. A question we asked all companies that presented bids, was how much is a sheet of OSB if we need more than what is included in your bid.
