"I just went through a kitchen remodel with Billy Shapiro and his team at SBS of South Florida Inc. My 83 year old mother has lived in her condo for over 15 years and always wanted to get it remodeled as it was the original kitchen from when the unit was built in the early 1970s - formica and a cumbersome dropped plexiglass ceiling that was just plain old ugly. She has been saving for it for years, but had a modest budget and we were almost put off on having the work done because either contractors quoted some ridiculous price or didn't want to be bothered with a smaller job. I contacted Billy through Angie's List and he got back with me immediately and set up an appointment to meet me at mom's place to scope out the job. He said he would get back to us within a couple of days - and he did and he quoted her a complete kitchen remodel that was within her budget. He was very helpful in suggesting ways or areas that she could save money. Three weeks later, she has a beautiful kitchen that she has always dreamed of that looks like it costs way beyond modest budget. Billy kept us informed daily, his workers showed up when they were supposed to show up and just as important to me they were so extremely nice and respectful to my 83 year old mother. From the initial contact, to the walk through quote, to the official written quote (within 24 hours), to selecting the paint, having the samples applied to the walls, starting and completing the work this company exceeed my expectations. The painting was expertly executed and the attention to detail was laser sharp. I had a few areas that partial pieces of baseboard were replaced. The repaired area is seamless. "Overall Dan was very professional, responsive and punctual. It is amazing when you have a vendor show up at the time promised! He was always at least 10 minutes before the promised time. Dan and Tony were able to complete the long lists of items within a few days. I appreciate all of your hard work and dedication. The guys even came to my place on a Sunday to put in a half day to meet my deadlines. Be sure to be clear when giving direction - we had a couple mistakes that had to be fixed along the way due to paint selection in the wrong areas within the property. Dan and Tony fixed the issues once addressed with no complaints. Dan went above and beyond to help me with issues that arose during the project (i.e. exchanging a damaged bathroom vanity and minor retro fitting to old plumbing). Thank you again Dan for everything! "After repeated automated requests, I'm leaving a review. The representative was nice and provided great marketing material. There were several repairs and additions I'm interested in making that aren't dependent on each task. The quote was a summarized total and after more than 4 requests for an itemized quote and to identify the construction materials that would be used, I gave up and searched for other service providers. There was a contract clause that limited the paint colors that could be chosen. Additionally, their contract includes a clause of a $5,000 penalty if you say anything they don't like about them online. I was interested in working with them, if there was appropriate communication and clarity of the work to be performed."
