"I called late on a Friday afternoon after my air went out. They came after hours, installed the new unit, and took the old one for evaluation & possible repair. A year later I called them back for another ac problem (different unit), and they came same day. Whereas another contractor told me to junk the unit, Greg replaced a small part & all was well. While with me the second trip, I mentioned several other small jobs, and they got right on them! The vent hood took a trip into the attic and up onto the roof, but they figured out the problem and solved it. This hood was damaged during Katrina (12 years ago) & Ive had several companies out to look/repair and nobody was able to diagnose problem. Now I have my hood back! Repaired two ceiling fans that I'd been told to junk, repaired a pendant light wired incorrectly by another contractor, and even replaced some light bulbs in my 12-foot ceiling-ed rooms! "I had left message on Monday. Received a call around 7:30 p.m. to say he
would be here at 9:00 a.m. the next morning. The service charge would
be taken off the total of any repair to my dishwasher. He came promptly
at 9:00 and checked everything out. The problem turned out to be the
computer which would have cost around $200 with labor. But he noticed
about three other items that would have been a problem down the road.
Ultimately it would be cheaper to look around for a new dishwasher. This
is what I chose to do. I was very pleased with his honesty and I am
glad I called Abba. I will recommend him to anyone with a dishwasher
problem and will certainly call on him in the future should I have a problem.
