"Tracy Diamond arrived right on time to survey the area and walked around with me to see exactly what I wanted done since I was expanding an area which required the removal of two tree stumps. In short order he had a written estimate done and said to call when I made a decision. I was in the process of obtaining a loan so I told him it would probably be a couple weeks before I was sure I got the loan and had made my decision between him and the other contractors. After obtaining the loan and other estimates; I chose Diamond's Paving for numerous reasons; they were more in line with my budget and were the only contractor that stated there would be three full inches of asphalt applied as opposed to the one or two inches from the others. Tracy Diamond and the folks I spoke to at the office were always very pleasant and professional and quick to return phone messages. The Diamond family/crew arrived bright and early the first day (Monday) and began with the stump removal, grading and general preperation. They worked well into the early evening almost non-stop with a large backhoe, a small bulldozer, a steam roller, dump trucks, shovels and brooms. Since it was going to rain the next day, they said they would be back on Wednesday. As promised, they arrived bright and early and immediately got to work. They were still working and about halfway down the driveway when I had to leave in the early afternoon. When I returned after dark, I could see the driveway was completed and it was roped off so no traffic could enter and ruin the new asphalt. The next morning, Tracy Diamond arrived and made sure I was completely satisfied with the job. He explained that he had one side of the parking area roped off and advised that I keep off of it for an extended period of time because that was where they pulled up the stumps and roots and laid down a new base for the asphalt...just to be sure it would set up really well. He answered several questions I had about future care of the asphalt and made sure I knew the work was guaranteed for a year. I can not say enough good things about this family company. They have been an absolute pleasure to deal with and are just some of the nicest people you would ever want to interact with."

"Went very well. The company was a pleasure to deal with in all respects and did what they said, on schedule. It was a major job that involved excavating under a porch and extending drainage lines way into the back yard, completed over a couple of weeks. At the end of the project, I believed that the slope of a section of the reconstructed front walk was not quite right. Randy had his guys back out here within a couple of days to redo it. We'd had a major water problem in the basement since buying the house over 10 years ago. CWI did the waterproofing in the spring, and we've had a couple of long, heavy rains since then. "Immanual George is the youngest of the Son, Father, Grandfather and did the estimate - he also communicated very well with me throughout the job. They had three other workers in addition to the 3 Georges and Immanual led the other workers. I was fortunate that they could work me in due to someone else suspending a job. They were very reasonably priced and performed excellent work. There were 3 generations of George's (their last name) on the job. The youngest is the best for communicating and their team did an exceptional job. They are ALL Business and got right to work and did not stop until the job was done and it looked fantastic. I would absolutely recommend them again. The work they did was the repaving (asphalt over existing) a semicircle driveway and widening it in a couple places. "R & J Paving were nice to work with. They did have to come back because the lines on the parking lot weren't correct or the printings weren't put on dark enough. But I would say they came back and they totally corrected it. I would work with them again. They were very willing to do anything to satisfy the customer. They did came back to do what they were supposed to. We're satisfied with the job. Their prices are very good."
