"We are extremely pleased with the work of Earth Friendly Services overall.  How the space looks now really exceeds what our expectation was for the end result.  Our basement space was pretty much a mess and posed a number of remodeling challenges, including a very uneven floor surface, moving of the gas meter, support poles in weird places, multiple water valves and other items that require access.  Yet with how it looks now, you'd never know it was such a mess to begin with.  Both of the lead guys for the company, Steve and Bill, were good listeners and were patient with our questions and our issues as things came up when they were doing the work.  Both of them had good attention to detail and worked to get to what we wanted, rather than what would have been easiest for them.  For example, we asked them to use a type of drop-ceiling tile they'd not worked with before, and they got it done, with the result being a fantastic-looking, modern ceiling, rather than the industrial look most weird spaces end up using.  There was no down-time during the project, as someone (usually several people) was/were down in the basement working every day, resulting in their finishing the job exactly in the timeframe that they said they would (originally they said it would take three to three-and-a-half weeks, and they were done in three weeks and three days).  There was none of that "Hey, this is going to cost a little more than we said it would" or any of the nightmare stories you hear from other people getting their basements finished.  It cost exactly what they said it would up-front.  Further, their total cost was $8K lower than the closest bid we received for the same job!  It sounds crazy to say this, but these days it feels like an oddity when contractors do exactly what they say they are going to do for exactly what they say it's going to cost, but that is exactly what happened in our experience with Earth Friendly.  This is the company you want to go with if you are on a budget yet nonetheless expect a quality product and a professional contractor with a solid work ethic."

"Very happy with Beiztell.  They provide a quote promptly after contact and stuck to it. They were in and out in one day to remove the old fence and replace with the hew fence.  When I arrived home I would never have known there were workers in my yard - they cleaned up so well, and didn't make a mess of the grass. The fence looks fabulous - time will tell if the wood wears well, but it is treated pine and looks good.The pool pump fence was a last minute addition to the job and they did a great job as they had to work around plumbing and electrical and slopes. During the installation they kept my husband informed and made to sure to ask questions if there were any doubts positioning, etc. Overall we are really happy with the work and with the people at Beiztell.  Everyone was professional and polite. They were prompt in responding to questions and delivered on the date they said that they would."

"Finding a contractor via the Angies List recommendation was "EASY" and convenient. Things became a little more tenuous after selecting Long Creek Construction for the work. The project is not finished (YET). As of 7/29/2016 (~3:30 p.m.) – about 75% done; work started on 7/11/2016 under a written contract; at the onset, the on-site supervisor had to be informed by the customer that the orientation and design of the project was NOT in accordance with the customer’s contracted design/specifications; footing holes were dug and placed incorrectly; upon clarification with the customer, the placement of the footings was corrected; initially the customer was told there would be a contract cost adjustment, but the footing placement correction was made without further mention of any cost adjustment; the porch, deck and steps were constructed and installed quickly and in a professional workmanship manner; several of the boards have defects (gouges and stains) that are not representative of high quality brand new PVC porch and deck boards. These PVC boards were selected by the customer due to their “STAIN AND FADE RESISTANT” feature. Long Creek has not addressed this deficiency (YET). During construction, mud and cement were splashed on numerous areas of the white vinyl, especially the support posts as well as my house. In addition, the siding has incurred a black stain due to the “ice/water roof sheet residue. Long Creek has not addressed this discrepancy (YET). The customer submitted a discrepancy list to Long Creek but the items have not been addressed. (YET). The customer was disappointed with the lack of automatic updates on work schedules, discussions of detailed work plans and progress of the project. The site supervisor was very willing to answer questions but only when asked by the customer. There was not a plan to update the customer automatically or periodically. Overall, the project is proceeding well. The customer is concerned about the lack of contact with the initial contractor/salesman (WYRON) regarding the progress of the project, delays, issues or customer concerns. Future Plans: Continue work to correct discrepancies and complete installation including fascia boards, screen system, storm door, gate, fan, porch ceiling, GFI outlet on porch (maybe), etc., etc., etc.. The customer has not received any response to the above comments that were previously submitted to Long Creek Construction."
