But, he underestimated wood needed for replacement of deck boards and he didn’t bid the cleanup/disposal of removed wood so the quote was short by $300. "George Suba was punctual. He showed up every morning between 8 and 8:30. Very neat. At the end of the day, after he cleaned up the worksite, I would never have known there was on going construction outside of that room. He gutted my bathroom, installed tile, new tub and toilet, vinyl plank flooring, moved electric outlet, plumbing, painted, and hung a new mirror, He stayed on my project until completion. The quality of his work was outstanding and fairly priced. The outcome exceeded my expectations. He was also kind enough to help me with finishing touches in my new home by hanging decorative art pieces in lanai and on my courtyard walls and installing a peep hole in front door. I will be rehiring him to remodel my master bathroom next. He is a wonderful gentleman. I felt very comfortable having him in my home and wouldn't consider hiring anyone else for my next bathroom remodel."

"First off, I would like to say that I would highly recommend Burlingame Contracting for any remodeling work that you may need. My wife and I initially had Paul come out to do a complete remodel on two bathrooms in our home. During the design process Paul and his team listened to our vision for the bathroom and offered great ideas to build upon them while keeping to our bathroom budget. In a short amount of time Burlingame Contracting was able to transform our bathrooms by getting rid of the old cabinets, tub, drywall, flooring, doors, and lighting. They then installed new vanities, heaters, designed a pocket door to save room in a small bathroom, designed three built-in closet features, tore out a wall to create more space, installed a new tub, and installed new tile floors. In short, they made our bathrooms look amazing. I think the thing that impressed me the most about the experience was that during the remodeling phase Paul and his team ran into a few big surprises due to the original construction of the house and he was able to adjust on the fly while keeping the work going ahead. During the course of the remodel Paul ended up having to replace subflooring in a bathroom due to a prior unknown leak, fix electrical issues that were originally not set up to code, help relevel our home due to improper initial construction which led one side of our home’s foundation to sink over an inch into the ground, and he and his men ended up installing a French drain to help reroute water from a low point in our yard that was contributing to the sinking issue. During the entire process Paul kept us updated on the progress of the work, his next steps, options for design, and he went out of his way to make sure that we were happy with the job they were doing. Despite the surprises that occurred with the subflooring, sinking foundation, and the drainage issue Burlingame Contracting was able to adjust on the fly and offer cost effective solutions to address these issues. In short, it seemed like they were prepared to handle anything, and that is exactly what you want in a contractor. Overall, the work turned out beautiful and was of a very high quality. As I mentioned earlier, I would highly recommend them for any job that you may have. My wife and I will definitely be using them again.
