We had a standard exterior door replaced including widening of jam. Bob and partner completed the job in no more than three hours. Whatâ s even more impressive is willingness to follow-up and respond to concerns or questions. We had a minor adjustment required due to recent heat and door expansion for which Bob happily stopped by to fix in short order. Most contractors seem to avoid any extraneous activity or conversation, but Bob is extremely customer focused. I am excited to work with this team again for our next project!"

"The project went extremely well. Gaby is a consummate craftsman and finish carpenter. As someone who built custom furniture in my early days, I am very familiar with woodworking and can immediately distinguish between good, quality work and Excellent craftsmanship. Gaby fits the latter! He does all the work himself and takes incredible pride in the quality of his work. He built out the shelving in our pantry and when completed, there was an issue with the height of each of the shelves. When I brought the issue to his attention, Gaby apologized profusely and was back at my house within 48 hours to remedy the situation. This is a situation where you get what you pay for! His pricing was a bit high but fair as custom-built cabinets go. The difference is justified in the quality of materials he uses and the attention to every little detail during installation. During COVID, we paid 50% up front so he could purchase the materials right away as the cost of aLL MATERIALS CONTINUED TO SOAR. Gaby is honest, friendly, highly skilled and fin to work with. The only criticism I have is every decision made and agreement made was on a handshake (Old-school). There was not a formal quote or any paperwork other than the drawings from our designer that I provided. He gave me a range on price and of course, when the work was done, it was the higher of the range. We had initially planned for 2 pantries built by Gaby but ended up only needing shelves in a modified pantry that had already existed which my builder had modified. There were no adjustments in his verbal quote or final price. I had wished at the time that it was in writing. Good communication. Always on time and said what he would do and did what he said! "I called terry to see if my counter could be raise as my new dishwasher would not fit where my old one was. I was told I had to either cut the floor or do the counter over He said it would be a lot of work as I have tile that would have to be cut. He then asked if he could try something and guess what he got my dishwasher in with no cutting that the other guy said I had to do. Terry and Dave are the best. Thank you"

"Overall we were really happy with Marco Polo and we highly recommend them. We got several quotes for this job and found their quote to be very fair. They also worked with us to make sure we could get the best possible finished product given our price range. They kept on budget - they completed the entire job without ever asking for more money. The folks doing the work were very friendly and respectful. Nataly, our project manager, was extremely responsive and understanding of our needs. In terms of issues, we almost never saw Marco during the project and wish he had been more present/involved. The few times he did come by, he added a ton of value, pointing out issues and giving recommendations. Also, they ran significantly over schedule... Had an issue with some of the grout cracking, but they were responsive and came back to fix it at no charge. Overall, we were very happy with the product. And most of all, we really trusted Marco. He was was very upfront and we never felt like he was cutting corners or taking advantage of us in any way."
