He called me back around an hour later, and instead of immediately wanting to schedule a service call, he briefly walked me through a potential solution over the phone, free of charge. His advice worked. It's rare that a service technician will do this for you. Although I didn't experience a service call in person, it's pretty clear that he is thorough and he is willing to go above and beyond for customers."

"I’m thankful Carter Bros was my choice through Angi’s list. The oven portion of my gas range suddenly quit working. Bill came out the same day and was thorough and professional. He was unable to find the source of the failure and said it could be the motherboard and it could fail again and at that point I’ll need to weigh if the cost of replacing that mother board or replacing the 9 year old range makes more sense. I was only charged $199 and he spent over an hour trying to isolate the failure. I appreciate his honesty and not charging me an exorbitant price. I have saved their contact info and will use them whenever I have an appliance failure and will recommend this company to my neighbors and friends."

He fixed my microwave quickly (while it was an easy DIY fix, I did not want to risk the shock myself if I didn’t discharge correctly, was glad I left to professional). He also very quickly assessed my fridge issue recommending it was not worth repairing as even a well done job would lead to leaking/floor damage down the line. I really appreciated that he was able to come out same day- also that while I was given a 3 hr window, I got an update when he was on his way and could even track his arrival time via the link he send me. Lastly, the service fee was applied to repair, and was lower than others I had contacted, which I appreciated as I knew I might be on replacement path instead of repair with the fridge!"

"Mena has been out to my house to fix my Speed Queen dryer twice. Each time my dryer was back in service with one service appointment I was able to schedule within within 2-3 days. The first time Mena took care of my dryer it was under warranty and kept running without shutting off. I was going through Speed Queen for service and the first company they sent out came 2 or 3 times and each time the problem kept happening, they were unable to diagnose and fix it. Thankfully, I was able to get them to send a second company and Mena came out. He examined my dryer, was able to see some sort of short in the dryer, happened to have the part needed for the repair on the truck, and fixed the problem correctly in that first appointment. My dryer if working fine for over two years now. The second time I had Mena come out, there were metal pieces sticking out of my dryer. He talked with me on the phone, had me send pictures and determined it was the moisture sensor. He ordered part & dryer fixed!"
