"We discussed designs for our family room. She was easy to work with and everything was done through email. We sent Jill details about the room and photos. She understood things well, sent us back ideas and a few room plans. We didn’t use her ideas but they were valuable for us for other perspectives. The deal was exactly what we expected."

"

We obtained multiple bids on our 18 year old roof, and Tim from Des Moines Area Roofing impressed me from the very first time I met him.  He is the owner of his company, and yet he was very responsive to all of my questions that came via email and phone calls.  I've met many handymen for various home projects, and he was by far the most responsive and attentive to my needs during the proposal process.

Once the day came for our installation, he and his entire crew were timely and professional; one of the guys even helped me move my grill away from the house so it wouldn't get hit with falling debris.  They weren't done in a day as promised, but they only needed a few hours the following day to finish everything up.  The two most impressive aspects of doing business with Tim and his team were: (1) he didn't require a deposit before the work started, we paid him after the work was done and after walking around the house to confirm everything was cleaned up; and (2) the clean up afterwards, it was immaculate, in the 2.5 weeks since the project (and mowing twice) I have found just one (1) nail and two small pieces of shingle.

I highly recommend Des Moines Area Roofing.

"We had Scott and team repair our concrete front stairs and install a handrail. We also had them install new baseboards and trim throughout our home along with new kitchen backsplash and a wood breakfast bar. We are so happy and pleased with the quality of the work and how it all turned out. Scott is very communicative and always quick to respond to any questions. We originally were scheduled for work to begin in December or January but when he found out we are expecting our first child in February he took it upon himself to speak to other project owners and was able to get us moved up to October. That is something you just don't see these days and was so incredibly kind. We will have Scott and team out for any future home projects we have and would highly recommend."

"They were very quick got right in and got right to work, did not stop till the job was completed, Owner was on site the whole time, were extrmly helpful in trying to decide what to work with and what materials were best for the job as well as cost effeciant, Will be using this company for all my remodeling jobs as well as updates in my home. Couldnt be happier"

"We purchased the unlimited consultation package. Amanda is very friendly and professional. We struggled because we were looking for someone to consult with out of the box ideas. Once she understood our vision she could move forward, but innovation was not her strength. We paid an additional amount for drawings. These were detailed, and while not all changes were made as requested, we were able to get some value from them. In hindsight, I would not pay $99 for drawings. Any cabinet retailer will do these for you for free, which I did not know until afterwards. The company wants you to spend time telling them about your style, which ours is Country French. The first cabinet rendition we received was black expresso. We did a complete kitchen tear out so this may work fine for smaller jobs or if you have done this before. It just didn't work for us with distance and what we needed. I was able to find someone locally that sold the cabinets we wanted and she was a wealth of information and things moved much faster. Good luck to HMD. It's a good idea and the person we dealt with we liked personally."

"The workmanship was excellent. The work was completed within the time frame agreed upon as well as the price quoted. Everything was done very professionally from start to finish. I HIGHLY recommend Dave Navarro Construction for any interior remodeling. I will definitely use him again - without hesitation."
