"This was my first experience with Home Advisors. However, will not be my last. We are in the process of getting our current home prepared to go on the real-estate market and needed the services of a "Professional" Painter / Drywall company. After reviewing the various companies available to me we settled on Quality Drywall & Painting. Was able to engage owner Steve Scott and arrange for him to make a site visit in order to provide me with an accurate estimate for our job. He promptly met with my wife and I on a Saturday morning as we have been out of town finishing up the construction of our retirement home in Northeast Georgia. Our job was rather extensive regarding a â  Completeâ  interior painting of ceilings walls trim and molding. The job also was inclusive of various drywall repairs and cabinet painting in the kitchen, (2) bathrooms and laundry room. In addition, there was a large outdoor deck that was incorrectly painted (By another contractor) that had to be stripped and receive a color change. Lastly there was a detached shop that required walls, molding and epoxy flooring. I would be remiss not to state that we were under a very tight time line in which get our current Southwest Georgia home prepared for sale. The (3) man crew worked between 12 and 16 hours per day in order to assist us with our objectives. As previously stated, these guys we pouring their best into our job. After observing the integrity and attention to detail provided be these men my wife and I decided to allow the crew to stay at our home during the project. Our thoughts were that this would conserve on travel time, increase productivity and reduce their operational costs as they were traveling upwards of (3) hours a day during the first (2) days. Therefore, the last (5) days the guys took us up on our offer. Our home received all of the paint color lighting and ceiling fan upgrades that our realtor recommended. So as to be clear, the crew changed nearly every ceiling fan and light fixture in the entire house. As we are now at the end of our project the men have exceeded our expectations while helping us to remain on track with our hard-scheduled deadline. While finishing up the final punch list items (Final Day 7) our realtors stopped in to check on the progress to goal. One of the ladies asked if I had already had the final home clean-out performed. I quickly replied that it was scheduled for tomorrow morning. Needless to say, she was surprised. Just another example of the attention to detail Quality Drywall & Painting provides their customers! Our realtors were amazed with the transformation as well as quality of craftsmanship that had taken place in our home. "Jeremy and his tile installer Jose (aka "Chewy") made this challenging job a rewarding experience in more ways than one. The project was to renovate three 1870ish fireplaces. For two of these, we were using a subway tile to emulate a Victorian-era look. The third involved a combination of slate and decorative tiles. Naturally in this old house, nothing is square, level, or plumb. Furthermore, we had a firm deadline to be met. And as so often happens with jobs like this, there were unhappy surprises requiring more work and time by the contractor than was expected. Despite all this, Jeremy and Chewy arranged their schedules (even working on a holiday) and used their creativity to overcome the issues and complete the job by the date Jeremy had committed to. Furthermore, although the project clearly was more time-consuming and complicated than anticipated, Jeremy honorably held to his bid price. The quality of the work was excellent, again particularly so when considering the construction issues this old house threw at the guys. Throughout the process, Jeremy kept us regularly posted and was always very professional and responsive - he uses his smart phone's capabilities to provide near real-time communication. Chewy has been installing tile for over 20 years, and his experience as well as aesthetic sensibility really shows. For our 3rd fireplace, we discovered that the slate tiles were about a quarter-inch larger both length and width than the decorative tiles; that required Chewy cutting the stone tiles to fit - slate is a challenging material to work with but Chewy handled it with ease . Chewy also ensured that the layout of the disparate slate tiles along with decorative tiles was done in the most eye-pleasing fashion. Altogether, the final result is spectacular. On Chewy's phone he keeps a library of past projects which proves that his design and craftmanship skills are nothing short of exceptional. I would not hesitate even one moment to give my highest recommendation to Jeremy and Chewy for any tile installation project. Thanks again, guys!"
