"After doing some research, I had a preliminary view of what needed to be done and the cost of the material for the work. Then, I contacted 5 electricians to get written estimates for the work. Four of the electricians quoted a price that was more expensive than Glenn. One electrician suggested replacing my current 200 AMP, 30-circuit electrical panel that was maxed out at 38 circuits, with a 40-circuit panel thereby only gaining 2 additional slots. Another electrician suggested instead installing a 100 AMP, 20-circuit sub-panel, which was the correct recommendation, per my research. Glenn also suggested this approach, so I immediately knew that I was dealing with a straight shooter. While price was an important part of the decision making process for selecting an electrician, price was not the only reason I decided to go with Glenn. Of course, he had outstanding reviews on Angle’s list (A ratings only), but of all of the electricians, he was the MOST thorough and MOST detailed at exploring what needed to be done and he explained everything step by step ... he also asked a lot of questions and analyzed my current electrical setup before making a recommendation. He provided a very comprehensive recommendation with 3 different options for me to choose from that provided an efficient sub- panel set up that was also cost efficient, but all 3 recommendations solved my problem. I decided to go with a 100 AMP 20 circuit sub-panel that will provide me with plenty room to expand in the future. Glenn completed all work in 2 days and I was extremely pleased with the job he did. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable regarding his trade, he is also very professional, quite personable; a very nice person. It was a pleasure to work with him and as I told him after the job was completed, he will be "my electrician guy" going forward. I "highly" recommend Glenn ... simply put, he is OUTSTANDING!!"

"Justin was our first response to our inquiry through Home Advisor. He was courteous, prompt and did excellent, quality work including his worker. We had him add an extra panel, making our electrical 200 AMP; the entire panel had to be moved as it was in close proximity to our well water tank. He also straightened out the breakers that had incorrect circuits running through the house, which could have created a fire. The inspection by the Township was rapidly approved. "This company responded to my initial voicemail inquiry to arrange for an estimate only an hour or two after I had called.  A date and time was set up to come over to my son's house for the estimate. The service man arrived promptly. The proposal for the job was emailed to me within a day or two, along with 2 different brochures for a single stage and a dual stage variable furnace, that I could examine. I mailed the signed proposal back to H L Bowman, along with a 1/3 down payment. The job wasn't able to be scheduled until about a month after my first contact, but that was no problem. On the day of the work, 2 men arrived 15 minutes early at 7:15 AM and got right to work. They worked diligently all day until about 4 PM, only taking a short break for lunch. At the end of the job, they had removed and cleaned up all of the old metal parts, ductwork, and the old oil tank.  In its place was a shiny, new gas furnace. They also made sure before they left, that they explained the various parts of the furnace to me and also how to replace the filter. I was impressed with H L Bowman's promptness and professionalism from the first contact for an estimate, to the quality of the job they did when it was completed. We will use this company for any HVAC service needs.
