"Had a water leak coming from A.C. unit and I called HARP on Saturday morning and was informed a technician could be out on Saturday between 2pm and 6pm. Jaime informed me that it was $89 for service call and $25 for fuel charge and HARP does not charge by the hour but by the job. At 12pm I received a phone call from HARP dispatcher and i am told that the tech finished up his job early and would like to come over to our home, I informed her that we were not home, she said no problem we will see you at your schedule timeframe. Dispatcher called again at 1pm and asked if tech could head our way and I said yes, we were home. Courtney Ivey came out and arrived at 1:45pm, was very professional, personable, clean, wore slippers over his shoes, uniform was sharp looking, wore a mask, provided me with some great helpful hints, turns out I needed I condensate tank pump. He replaced the pump, took the old one away and paid for the part and service. I later saw on HARP website that they offered military discounts, so I called and spoke to a wonderful person named Debbie. I explained that we had just paid for service and was wondering if it was too late for HARP to provide the military discount, she said absolutely we can. She sent an e-mail to HARP billing department and asked I be credited 10%. I have to say little shocked at all the negative reviews. My experience was 100% hands down."

"The work went quickly and professionally.  The crew was careful to
protect our environment and to keep us notified of what they were doing
and when to expect noise, etc.  This was especially important as we have
 three older dogs and we were able to schedule their water theraphy for
the noisiest day. There was an additional problem discovered with
plumbing into the basement.  A pipe from the street to the water meter
had to be replaced by another contractor.  The Basement Guys were unable
to waterproof that spot until after the repair was completed.  They
returned promptly and completed the work, also double checking for any
chips or gaps that had arisen in the foam insulation and fixing them 
and touching up the waterproofing epoxy where the termite company had
drilled holes in the basement wall.  We were extremely pleased with
their service. They are phenomenal!We highly recommend Dry-X Waterprofing.

"I had them come look at a leaking shower. Guy came out and took a look at it, then went to the store and bought a replacement cartridge which he then installed. It didn't fix the leak, so he put the original back in and gave me a quote to cut a hole in the shower, replace the entire assembly, and put a plate over the hole to patch it up. $189 for the visit plus a quote of $900 - which was supposedly a discounted rate since I already paid for them to come out with nothing to show for it. Luckily, my uncle asked to took a look at it as he took the whole wall of the shower insert off, replaced the assembly, and fixed a 2nd, unknown leak. He had the wall back on inside 3 hours and I didn't need a plate to cover a huge hole in the shower insert. All in all, I was disappointed in the outcome but I understand it was likely a bigger project than they were expecting. I also feel their rates are a bit expensive, but I'm not sure how other plumbers compare. On the plus side, everyone I spoke to was very professional, polite, and responsive. They had me scheduled quickly on the very first day that worked for me. The guy who did the work seemed knowledgeable about the actual plumbing part. I will probably call them again in the event of an emergency, but will probably look elsewhere for more minor, maintenance type issues like the one I had."
