"We originally contacted John at Optimum through Angie's List on a Sunday night and he responded within the hour! He came out within 48 hours and got us our estimate within another day. We had to wait 3 months for the work because of a large commercial job he was working on but I've heard that is not unusual in this area. To John's credit, he did not ask for a deposit until he was ready to start the job. Once started, he and his crew finished the job very quickly for the scope of it and yet, they were extremely thorough and detailed. John even had a carpenter come out to do a little repair we needed first. The crew took down and replaced our garage lights, porch shades, house numbers and door weatherstripping for us and even moved our patio furniture. We have been doing some remodeling this summer and have had multiple contractors out and John's group was by far the most hassle-free experience we've had! He was running a little later than he thought on the day of the appointment & let me know right away, which was fine. He is very personable & knowledgeable, and his work is efficient & clean. Even though I wasn't paying for the furnace or A/C to be cleaned he still took the time to look at them & show me what he found, for future reference.
