"Weather Proofing Experts evaluated our roof externally (had no access at the time to the inside of the house) and contacted us and said there were major issues, not just with the roof/flashings/lack of ventilation, but that signs they were seeing on the bricks told them there was no water proofing/house wrap behind the bricks; we found this hard to believe and were skepical, afterall the house was built in 1989 and Tyvek was trademarked in 1965 (and if nothing else it was common practice to at least use felt paper or tar paper?) We agreed, along with the realtor and seller, to meet Brandon of Weather Proofing Experts at the house and allow him access to the attic and other interior spaces to further evaluate the home. My fiance, who is an architect at a general contractor's office, went into the attic space/gables with Brandon and Chris, and sure enough: no house wrap/weather proofing: it was just studs and the backs of bare bricks. Not only that, but because of the way the house was flashed and bricked when it was built, the brick was going to have to come off to re-roof the house: a $70-90, 000 job to remove brick, weatherproof behind the brick, and properly flash and roof the house and add ventilation. Though we were heart broken, as we loved the house and location, etc, we were so thankful for Weather Proofing Experts keen ability to evaluate the home and identify and problem we were completely unaware of before we purchased the home. In the end, we were able to submit a new lower offer to the seller, and they came down on their price to off-set most of the future costs to repair our issues identified by Weather Proofing Experts, and after we close, we will be contacting Brandon and his crews at Weather Proofing Experts to take care of our home."

"I purchased 2 hours as a gift for my wife on 02/22/2015 Order # 1793956.  My wife started calling for an appointment in mid March but could not get a return call. She was able to get them sometime in May and a appointment was made for June 24th at 10am (my wife noted that the person she talked to seemed extremely stressed out).  On 06/24/15 I took the morning off and I waited until 10:30am still no show, so I called. She stated that we did not have an appointment until 07/01/2015 at 9am.  My wife insisited she wrote the correct date down and knew nothing of a 7/04/15 appointment.  The person I talked to said she would come out and do the job herself that day 06/24/15 between 3 and 4 pm (the person I talked to seemed extremely stressed out).  I then took the rest of the day off, at 4:30 still a no show so I called.  She stated she was trying to get here as soon as she could but it might be as late a 6:30 pm (the person I talked to seemed extremely stressed out).  I had things to do so I asked if we could just keep the 07/01/15 9am appointment she had for us and she said yes.  On 07/01/15 at 9:20 am still a no show so I called.  She stated she was on her way, but was not sure what town I lived in.  I told her Rogers, Ar and she said she had it and would be there as soon as possible but was coming form Sonora, Ar (which is about 40 minutes away).  At 10: 30 still a no show I called, she stated they were 3 and 1/2 miles away.  They arrived at 10:36 and started at 10:39am.  We asked that they dust the blinds and wash the interior windows.  At 11:12am 33 minutes later as they were both heading for the front door, she stated we dusted the blinds and cleaned the interior windows bye.

"I pay a monthly fee to CHW for insurance against equipment failure. Over a month ago CHW sent a repair technician to fix both of my garage doors, the technician made an adjustment on one door and chanced the opener on the other. A week or so ago the second door failed to open. Yes, my door opener is old, but the Warrantee says, if it can’t be fixed it will be replaced. CHW paid the tech $100 and said the rest $200 is on me. Please tell me why I should stay with CHW if I have to pay 2/3rds of the cost to replace the door opener? On a separate issue: Granted I accepted CHW’s offer of a Lowe’s card to replace my dishwasher, because I was unaware of how much dishwashers sell for, it cost me an additional 300. Again, please give me a reason for staying with CHW"
