"They did a very good job with the roof and the addition that came off the house and covered the deck. The only reason I gave them a B rating for quality instead of an A has to do with the finishing touches on the addition. All around the house the soffit fascia is covered in white sheet metal. When they finished the addition, which follows the roof line of the back of the house. They left it with bare, untreated wood. They don't use treated lumber because it reacts with the metal roofing and some corrosion may result. That's fine, but they should have at least covered it so that it tied in with the rest of the roof line. As we did our final inspection, I asked about the wood being treated and he explained why they don't use it. I said " so I guess I'll have to cover it?" He said that I would. I was leaving town on business in a couple days and had a lot going on, so I guess I just didn't think to put my foot down and insist they do it. Here in Mobile, Alabama we are the wettest city in the nation. We get more annual rainfall than Seattle, and it's humid. Wood rot happens.I went and bought some Thompson's Water Seal, and some sheet metal and took care of it myself. I have some pictures, but I don't see how to post them on this review page. The workers were very polite and cleaned up very well each day.

"Recently Bar's Construction removed the old roofing and replaced a new metal roof over my covered patio. I am very pleased with the work performed. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to my friends and family. Thank you very much for your quick response and clean up after the job."

"From the quote through the cleanup he was professional got the job done exactly as he promised and did a really good job with my new metal roof on my gazebo"

"I hired Mr Hare to repair my roof and he was professional and courteous. He finished the work in a timely manner and at reasonable price."

"It was excellent, he is the only person I used."

"Rep. checked entire system. He found several wires not connected properly and fixed this. He also made recommendations regarding the attachment of the panels to the rood that would provide more stability and leakproofing. The representative appeared to know what he was doing - much better than others, including the representative who was engaged by the roofer (who replaced our rood due to hail damage) to disconnect/connect the panels."

"After the insurance denied my claim, I asked M&M for a quote for out-of-pocket payment to replace my roof. They never got around to it. So, they did exactly nothing for me.

"I met in person with Roger prior to hiring him. He made it on site in less than a week and drove two and a half hours to do this job, and did it in a single day. He matched our shingle color perfectly. I have a very steep roof and all damaged shingles and flashing were replaced and look like new. He advised me on the overall condition of my roof and informed me of the incorrect installment from the previous contractor. Overall he is a knowledgeable professional with over 20 years experience, and it definitely shows. Competitive pricing and he does not cut corners. Will definitely hire him again."
