"The Neil's team did a great job on every phase of our project. Our 1960's original-to-the-house kitchen was inefficient, unattractive and cabinets were starting to fall apart. While our kitchen was not enlarged, by removing a wall and repositioning the sink and appliances, the new kitchen is now a wonderful space in which to work. Before, I had to store pans and small appliances in the basement, now everything is stored in the kitchen. We knew going in that Neil's would be more expensive than many other remodelers, but after dealing with less than perfect remodeling of bathrooms and a kitchen in a previous house, we didn't want the frustration and hassle of a less than perfect result. Our expectations on every score were met. Our designer was phenomenal--she gave us just the right amount of options...not so many that we were overwhelmed. And, most important, she was able to speak from experience and steer us away from options that would take away from the efficiency of the space. From tear-out to construction to finishing, the teams that worked in our house were punctual and friendly. Our project manager was on site, if not every day then several times per week, to ensure all work was top notch. We began meeting with Neil's in the summer on the design. Work began the first of October and was completed right before Christmas. Every week we received a project schedule identifying who would be in our house and what they would be working on. Just as with cost, I'm sure there are many other remodelers who would have been faster, but Neil's process ensured perfect coordination among the many tradesmen who worked in our home.
