"Juan poured a 16' x 20' concrete slab and built a beautiful 16? x 20? pergola with the 8? x 8? beams I requested. They used the stain on the pergola that I purchased and completed the entire project in 3 1/2 days. Our next project for him is to add an Austin stone island and put stone around our patio posts. When he poured the concrete he already prepared for the extra weight of the island so we are good to go. Juan is very professional and does things the right way. <br />"

"I had four contractors bid on the job. After meeting with all four, the rep from Integrated seemed the most knowledgeable and professional. They also had the best price of the four. When we hired them, they gave us a date to perform the work, then called back and said they had an opening a week earlier if we wanted it. They showed up on time, got to work, finished the job and cleaned up the mess in one day. Excellent work and customer service!!!"

"Representative came out and was very friendly. Did measurements throughout the house and told me that the measurements didn't indicate the need for any repairs at this time. Send map with measurements to me for historical reference."

"There was a three week wait due to the season, understandable. They were very professional and flexible on the fence design. Once complete, the deck construction was started. They were very flexible on the deck design as well due to my wife's change of idea's. Robert was my contact and made everything easy. The work was conducted daily while I was at work and completed by the time I got home which made it convenient to let the dogs out. They even added some additional features and extra's at no cost. Good business. Overall, satisfied customer."

"Mr. Bennett did great work. He arrived quickly to give the estimate. Although his estimate was not the cheapest we had (also not the most expensive), we went with Mr. Bennett because he was responsive to phone calls, answered any concerns we had, and seemed all around knowledgeable and professional. We think we made a good choice. When weather or other obstacles out of his control appeared, he adapted well and got things done quickly. He also was very friendly, did not go over budget, and, most importantly, the final product looks great. <br />"

"The sales rep worked with us and the insurance and helped us better understand terms and such. On the day scheduled for work the crew arrived on time and worked hard and quickly. They knew what they were doing and cleaned up well after themselves including searching for nails. We needed some decking repair on the house and a metal strip and replacement support on the barn. All was done as specified. They even used spare shingles to repair the doghouse gratis! My husband has a degree in building maintenance so he knew how these thing should be done. We are completely satisfied and will use them againifneede"

"I think that they were actually the only ones that hangout and gave me an estimate and I had search on the internet with Angie's list trying to get an idea what it looks to be cost me and I don't think it was all because anybody had told me anything about them but I even called anybody but I'm pretty sure nobody else came out and gave me a quote. Thinking that they actually did not happen to put in another water to pierce and he did not increase the price, he's stuck with the quote that he had given me so just stuck with this even though there was a little bit more work. The price is not that bad either. I would use them again in the future."

FAQs for concrete patios, walks & steps installation projects in Malone, TX

Most sidewalks rely on a ready‑mix blend of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and water that trucks deliver to your site and pour in one continuous lift. For added strength, many contractors fold in fiber mesh or steel reinforcement. This mix cures into a rock‑solid slab that stands up to foot traffic, freeze‑thaw cycles, and daily wear for decades. Expect a pro to recommend a 4‑inch‑thick pour for standard walkways.

With the right mix, proper drainage, and routine upkeep, a concrete sidewalk can last 25 to 50 years. Freeze‑thaw cycles, road salt, and heavy loads all shorten that timeline, but sealing every few years and patching small cracks early keeps damage in check. Think of sealing as inexpensive insurance for decades of safe, stable footing. In milder climates, some slabs push well past the 30‑year mark without major repairs.

Concrete sidewalks crack as a result of significant temperature fluctuations and heavy load pressures. The freeze-thaw cycles and sustained weight from vehicles or intense foot traffic force the concrete to develop cracks over time. Applying a premium sealant every two to three years and substituting salt with sand for de-icing minimizes crack formation. Regular maintenance and timely repairs safeguard the sidewalk’s structural integrity and extend its service life.
