"Barlow sold and installed Lennox furnace and air conditioner. There price was reasonable compared to others we contacted. They were able to quickly assess whether we could repair our old one, or needed to replace the 12 year old contractor grade unit we had. They were able to schedule the install very quickly. I have mixed reviews about the service and product installed. The initial install was poor to say the least. I would have rated them much higher, however the initial instalation fell way short of my expectations. We had to call them back at least 3 times to correct issues. The 4th time they came back was because my Gas bill Increased substantially, even through we bought an extremely energy efficient unit. Barlow then sent the "experts" and head manager out after we filed a report with Lennox directly. They have worked inordinately hard to correct the issues we had. Their expert team came out and did a phenomenal job. They completed changed the duct work, which was not corrected during initial installation. and basically reinstalled the same unit. So far, everything is working good. Won't know for another month or so if our gas bill did go down as a result of the changes they made. If not, we'll be dealing with them and Lennox again. In part, maybe it was the unit. Barlow doesn't think so though. They performed the work for the price they quoted, but can't rate them very high for the initial install. Again, the followup seems to finally have corrected the issue. I understand they also changed management between install and followup, so maybe that was the problem. I have used them since for service and would recommend them, but with the caveat of ensuring they use a qualified, experienced, and certified crew to do the work properly the first time. Their final followup team and management corrected issues we had, and I expect we will see our gas bill go down this year. If not, I won't hesitate to call them again. They seem to be a very good team to work wtih."

"Aaron Day was always most polite, careful, yet efficient and prompt. He brought his own equipment/tools and kept them in a single location in the garage while being extremely careful to keep his impact to a minimum. <br /> He always insisted on cleaning up after himself - always hauling away his left over trash. <br /> He refused to use his electrical saw in the bathroom and kitchen because of his concern for the amount of drywall dust that would result. Instead he very quickly and carefully hand cut the large drywall holes, making sure that all lines were perfectly straight, thus 'invisible' when put back in place. <br /> When he added the electrical tape and extensive insulation (outside in the cold, snow and mud) he left it exposed while working on other things so he could keep returning and checking to make sure it was working correctly before finally sealing up the wall. He went to great lengths to double and triple check his welding of the pipe in the kitchen to make sure there were no leaks before insulating and replacing the drywall. <br /> He always showed extreme care and pride in his work. When asked if he always worked with such speed and precision, he quietly replied with "I always treat whatever I’m working on as if it was my own home." The results of all the repairs that Aaron has done for us certainly reflects that attitude. <br /> I can't praise, and thank him enough!"
