They responded to my request for a bid very promptly, the price was very fair, and they got to work as soon as the weather allowed, finishing in just two days. They obtained a building permit, presented evidence of both workers comp and liability insurance, and listened to and accommodated my explanation of the unique details related to my house (e.g. flat portion, roof jack penetrations, etc.). The roof looks very nice, it lowered my insurance premium by almost 20%, and -- as of the first snowfall -- no longer leaks. I would very much recommend Light Roofing to other homeowners. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
