"I hired Bob Phalan for repairs and renovation of a rental unit in Dorchester that had wear and tear from multiple tenants. Bob worked on replacing exterior clapboards, renovating the bathroom with new tiles, replacing bathroom rotten wood frame window with a vinyl frame, installing new light fixtures and repairing bathroom plumbing, repairing torn screens, as well as repainting all walls and trim throughout the unit. He also plastered damaged ceilings and cleaned and organized the basement storage area. Bob arrived early each day and worked diligently. Bob is a good problem solver and can suggest ways to do repairs for the best outcome while keeping costs down. I would definitely hire him again."

"Exceptional Contractor for Comprehensive Home Improvement: I recently had the pleasure of working with Claudio and his team for a variety of home improvement projects, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. Initially hired for deck replacement, I was immediately impressed with the quality of their work. This positive experience led me to engage their services for additional projects, including windows and doors replacement, installation of leaf guards for gutters, repairing a leaking roof, fixing the chimney, addressing exterior damage caused by a previous contractor's negligence, replacing shingles, power-washing the house, and painting the exterior. What sets Claudio apart is not just the breadth of services offered but the consistent excellence in each. His carpentry skills are top-notch, evident in the meticulous work on my deck and other wooden structures. Moreover, his reliability and honesty make the entire process stress-free. The pricing is fair, especially considering the wide range of skills he brings to the table. Claudio truly is a man of all trades. Having someone with such diverse skills has been a game-changer for me. I no longer need to juggle multiple contractors for different tasks; he can handle it all. If you're looking for a reliable, honest, and multi-talented professional for your home improvement needs, Claudio is the person for the job. I highly recommend his services and will undoubtedly turn to him for any future projects."

"Julio came, looked at our deck and steps that needed repair. Shortly thereafter he gave us a quote. We hired him. He came within a few days and quickly, competently, and completed the job. We are exceedingly pleased with the his work and him. We will hire him again if we need another repair . It was a job that a number of other contractors had no interest in taking on. They felt it was too small for them. So, we are grateful to Julio!"

"Wade Keene called me rather quickly after I posted my request. We talked a bit about the overall project and he came soon after. I had some of the items needed to complete the project and he advised what else would be needed. We agreed to a date/time for completion of the project. The project included: mounted 4 TVs, removed a metal awning and fixed the siding where the bolts had been, reattached the stair railing to the concrete stoop, and built a small ramp from the porch to the back door. He explained the one item he could not complete - changing a thermostat - which I appreciated his honesty vice the possibility of doing it wrong. He was very personable and professional. I thought the cost was relative to the work. I would recommend."

"Back River Builders couldn't have been more professional or any better. The owner was a great communicator and always up to date. He was transparent, with the cost. They showed up on time. If you're looking for a company you want to trust, they can handle it. They did everything on the addition. They treat your house like it's your own. They clean up after themselves. They cared about where they parked in your driveway. The workers were all good guys. There was no cursing. It was a super and professional environment. You don't get that from too many companies, in my experience. These guys certainly separated themselves, from the rest of the contractors out there. Their prices are okay. You can tell they pay good, to have good workers."

"Craig was very efficient, explained how he would do the project. Then he made sure that we were on the same page before he started. His appraisal reflects honest, realistic market rates rather than overcharging. In addition he was very polite."

"Mark knew what he was doing. Worked fast and did a great job. I will definitely use him again for other home repairs. Mark is friendly and easy to work with."

"Jon did an excellent job on replacing our garage door frame. He came on time and finished with quality work."

"We had the aging cement board siding on our house painted with dark grey. We had a very large area to paint. Single thick coat looks real good. Workers first washed house down. After drying, all trim abutting cement board was sealed. Then several workers banged out house painting in 1 1/2 days. I was amazed at how quick they worked with diligence. a few days later a couple workers returned to paint the front door (no extra cost). They also recoated paint on the the columns and painted trim boards around the front porch without us asking. Work was very professional and thorough. The price was very reasonable and the payment schedule was broken down in manner agreeable for both us and PLJ. The project manager Thales was real easy to work with and he constantly focused on our satisfaction with the job. I highly recommend PLJ Carpentry. Dan Green Middleboro, MA"

"My experience with Espinoza home improvement was the best experience, they came as soon as possible when I needed a repair to be done soon as possible. He explained me how the process goes and he also took pictures of all the work he done. The crew came on time and were very nice to us. I thank them having my repair job done quick due to more up coming storms in my areas and the great quality work they did for me."
