"I was having intermittent issues with outages on two circuits. I no sooner completed the request on Home Advisor when the owner of University Electric, Tom, called and asked if he could help. He was able to rearrange his schedule so he could come out that morning. The lines were working when he got here so he wasn't able to determine the exact cause. We discussed replacing the old fuse box with a breaker panel so I said I would consider it. The circuits worked for a few days but then I started experiencing outages again. I called Tom and he was able schedule the work for early the following day. Tom and one of his employees worked to get the panel swapped out and made sure all the outlets were working. There was a problem with the line running from the utility pole to the house so we had to call in the power company to fix that issue but once that was done everything was back in order. I am very happy with the service and the costs was much lower than what I had been quoted previously byanother company."

I was looking to upgrade the service panel on a 120 year old house from 100 amps to 200 amps in order to convert to appliances from gas to electric. The change in the panel would also require outside work to the mast and connection to power in order to meet safety codes. "I was looking for an electrician to help me out in my new (older) home. I needed an update on my lights in multiple rooms, wiring to a new panel, and switches/outlets replaced. Adam was very honest and straight forward with pricing and tasks he and his team were going to be completing. I was very impressed with Adam and his team on the communication aspect but also the professionalism. They installed new wiring for 3 ceiling fans with lights in my upstairs bedrooms, routed wiring for an exhaust fan in my upstairs bathroom, completed installation on exterior and interior 150 amp panel (needed to be replaced on the fact the panel was original to the home being built in 1977), and installed new lights in the living room and basement.
