"The remodeling went very well. It was completed on the day it was promised. The quality of work is very good. Now I don't have to worry that there maybe water leak on the wall. Ariel was here everyday to oversee the work; his crews are very professional."

"This was the second project that I have hired TCH to do. It's so nice to be able to hire one contractor and have the same people do all of the work (plumbing, carpentry, tile work, etc.,) instead of having to hire a different company for each part of the project, or have a company sub out the work. TCH has the best personnel, always punctual and very cooperative. Regularly checking with me to be sure the job gets done the way I expected. They were very careful to protect all areas from dust and debris and made an exceptional effort to clean up at the end of each day and when the job was completed. I also think the price was reasonable. Thanks go out to both Cory's for all of their hard work. Another expert job by TCH."

"The quality of their work is outstanding- meticulous installation. They also have high quality recommendations for materials, as needed. If you want any adjustments done, they are done. Once you are provided a quote, that is what you pay (unless you add on and then that pricing is provided and stuck to as well.) The team is courteous & incredibly neat. If any subcontracting is required, they handle it start to finish and those teams are meticulous as well. Response time to questions is low, almost immediate. I am extremely happy with the results. I have had this company completely remodel my kitchen (to include wall removal, new cabinets, new countertops, new flooring) and extend my roofline, put on new shingles and new siding. Will use again. Highly recommend."

"Frank and his crew were great. Project timeline aligned with original projections and overall bid proposal. Frank has established himself with a great group of subcontractors who did a great job especially on the plumbing and electrical. This was the first major project Iâ ve undertaken and I appreciated Franks approach to communicating and troubleshooting problems that will inevitable occur when you start opening up walls of an old house."

FAQs for remodel to accommodate a disability projects in Maple Plain, MN

Standard Medicare coverage often doesn't extend to home modifications, such as roll-in showers. In specific circumstances where medical necessity is clearly established, limited coverage might be available through certain Medicare programs. Many homeowners explore alternative funding sources such as home modification grants, veterans' benefits, or specialized financing programs designed for accessibility improvements. Consulting with a Medicare representative about your specific situation provides the most accurate guidance.

Roll-in showers deliver significant benefits beyond their monetary return, particularly in terms of safety, independence, and long-term accessibility. By eliminating barriers to bathing, these installations help prevent falls while accommodating mobility devices, such as wheelchairs or walkers. Their open design creates a contemporary appearance that appeals to many homebuyers. For households planning to age in place or accommodate family members with mobility challenges, the functional advantages often outweigh pure financial considerations.

A standard roll-in shower installation takes two to four days. Projects requiring extensive renovation or plumbing changes may take longer, potentially extending to several weeks or months. Factors affecting the timeline include existing bathroom configuration, permit processing times, contractor availability, and material delivery schedules. Creating proper drainage slopes often requires additional preparation time compared to traditional shower installations, particularly when modifying existing floor structures.
