"Last year Northland Fence installed a tan vinyl privacy fence for my 1 acre lot, replacing a rotted cedar fence that was falling down. I was really impressed by the post design as a means to anchor the fencing without future rotting issues, and it saved lots of installation time versus the older cement process. This was a huge fence, and they completed in two days of work, and the fence looks great! Fast forward one year later and strong winds this year have knocked over 6 x 30-foot trees from my neighbor's yard into my yard, damaging the fence in multiple places, bending posts and breaking side panels. Tim came by to perform the repair last week and the fence is completely restored to previous condition in about 2-3 hours of work. You could not tell that so much damage had occurred except for some cleaning that I need to do. While onsite, Tim also addressed some sag in installed fence doors with very well-built diagonal braces and adjusted the doors to being square. He was polite, professional, and delivered great results - represents the Northland Fence brand well. Strongly endorse the fence solutions from Northland. "I was absolutely delighted to deal with a woman as competent and helpful as Amy. I received estimates for this work that ranged from $4500 - $15,000, and Amy's was right in the middle. She provided me with a very thorough estimate, worked with our insurance agent, and even gave us an excellent price on having some add'l work done at the same time (stairs and porch railing for the front). She was extremely patient with my incessant questions, and her crew were CRAFTSMEN, not just fence guys. "Very happy with owner, salesman, and work crew. They rescued me after another contractor started the fence, then walked off the job. They put up most of the fence in the winter, put up temporary fence in the spots that could not be done due to the season, then returned in the spring to finish. They were very considerate of my indecisiveness by making suggestions that would fit my needs. They were very tolerant of, and pleasant to, my two obnoxious dogs. Since the fence has been in place, three different people have stopped to ask me who did the fence, because it looks so nice from the street."

"I called on Thursday and scheduled my appointment for Tuesday morning. Ben showed up promptly at 7am ready to get to work. He ran into a snag due to my older plumbing under the sink and made a run to Home Depot for some additional parts. He got back and finished up the install without any problems. He was very informative and explained everything to me. Very professional and cleaned up when he was done."

"One structure in the form of a arbor with a gate completed our fence.
     The other structure a small deck outside of the lower sliding glass doors, with a pergola added,
     gives a quiet shady respite to the yard.
      We also had Hal design and build a fountain feature added to the garden area itself.  Which gives a soft
      and flowing water sound near the small deck.
      The work overall is outstanding with a very finished look.  It was also accomplished as per estimate of
       time and cost.  They were very considerate to make the work space neat and clean each day at finish
       time.
     
       We would "highly" recommend these contractors to anyone wanting this type of excellent yard work done.

"The whole process from beginning to end was painless as can be. No pressure what so ever. No gimmicks like the others had. No sign today for this deal crap. Pete the project manger was very nice & easy to deal with. Updates were right as things happened as they said it would. Reese & Ryan were our installers. 4 windows & a door. Very pleasant guys! It's an old house so they found a few issues along the way but took care of them. I witnessed MANY extra steps that they were taking along the way & it was really nice to see. Just don't see that much anymore... All in all a great experience! We are very happy with the end result & will for sure hire them again.... The only complaint would be it was pushed out a couple times but what isn't these days...."

"This is my second time using American Fence. The first was a cedar batton board privacy fence at a rental property I own. The second was brown vinyl chain link and galvanized chain link at my residential home. Overall the installation of both fences was tremendous. Everything went on schedule and in the manner which I was told it would. I was able to purchase both fences at a cost of roughly 10% less than other bids I had recieved. There was a downpayment paid for all material.
Final payment, however, was not given until after completion and a final walk-thru. Upon conclusion my yard was so clean it seemed they had not even been there. I could not have been more satisfied. The owner of the company worked side by side with his employees, always something refreshing to see in my opinion. They were also very helpful and polite toward me and my family.

"Greene Construction dug out large hole for egress window, used very competent subcontractor to cut the window opening with Greene Construction installing the window frame and window, put in a galvanized window well w/ladder per local building code regulations and hauled away the dirt.  I was very impressed with the professionalism of the Greene Construction crew, including company owner Damian, who said he prefers to work on the job sites over being in the office.  I also thought they went over and above the job requirements by helping me with some yard clean-up.  I had a pile of concrete scraps extracted from basement as part of my basement project.  I had asked Damian if he could dispose of them for me.  Not only did he say "yes", Damian and his crew helped me scoop up the concrete scraps and load then in his truck.
As for pricing, I had obtained approximately 5 bids and Greene Construction was right in the middle.  Based on the job completed, I would rate it a good value.  Ben was my initial contact at Greene Construction, he contacted me the day after my Angie's list inquiry and we scheduled the work after our meeting. 
In addition, I have another contractor working in my basement on the project, who also gave Greene Construction kudos for a job well done!
