"I’m thankful Carter Bros was my choice through Angi’s list. The oven portion of my gas range suddenly quit working. Bill came out the same day and was thorough and professional. He was unable to find the source of the failure and said it could be the motherboard and it could fail again and at that point I’ll need to weigh if the cost of replacing that mother board or replacing the 9 year old range makes more sense. I was only charged $199 and he spent over an hour trying to isolate the failure. I appreciate his honesty and not charging me an exorbitant price. I have saved their contact info and will use them whenever I have an appliance failure and will recommend this company to my neighbors and friends."

"Great! Ruslan was prompt, professional, courteous and fair pricing. I later learned he is the business owner, so I’m clear I’d receive great service every time. He fixed my microwave quickly (while it was an easy DIY fix, I did not want to risk the shock myself if I didn’t discharge correctly, was glad I left to professional). He also very quickly assessed my fridge issue recommending it was not worth repairing as even a well done job would lead to leaking/floor damage down the line. I really appreciated that he was able to come out same day- also that while I was given a 3 hr window, I got an update when he was on his way and could even track his arrival time via the link he send me. Will definitely call again next time I need help with an appliance! Lastly, the service fee was applied to repair, and was lower than others I had contacted, which I appreciated as I knew I might be on replacement path instead of repair with the fridge!"

"A number of the digital buttons on my oven had started to work only inconsistently. Bold and Short responded immediately when I posted the job and came out to do an estimate. The price was reasonable so we decided to move forward. When Vitalii came again he had a new part to try. He installed it but the oven still didn't work. He reassured us that he would still be able to fix it for the original quoted cost, but had to get an entire new panel from the manufacturer. He returned a few days later, installed the new panel and additionally fixed a piece of rubber gasket that had come lose from around the oven window for no additional charge. Very happy with the service, the price and his work!"

"Para Services is a dream come true for my aging husband and me - with their help, we can now hope to spend the next decade in our own home instead of moving to a retirement community. For our first visit, two highly competent (and personable) technicians showed up and spent the day reviewing everything in our house that could possibly need maintenance or repair. We were astonished by how much they got done. For example, one of them even climbed onto the roof where they found and nailed down some loose shingles. They cleaned the dryer vent (something we’ve never had done before), re-caulked some sections of the bathroom tiles, repaired loose door handles, checked the fire extinguishers, and the list goes on and on. I was especially pleased that they replaced all the burnt-out overhead light bulbs, so now my husband won't have to climb onto a tall ladder. "After contacting 10+ roofers and I found that many of them either don't have the time or don't want to do a repair job. Those that did come tried to talk me into a whole new roof or didn't respond back with an estimate as promised. I contacted Home Squad and what a HUGE difference! Mia in the office set up the appointment and was a dream to speak with regarding questions before and after the job. On the day of our inspection Jerry called just prior to our appointed time to advise that he was about 30 minutes away from arriving. What consideration! Our inspection went great. He explained everything in detail that needed to be done to correct the problem and he even checked out the rest of the roof to make sure that nothing else was wrong. He left the estimate prior to leaving and even called and left a message to say that he left it in a different place than discussed. Professionalism. On the day of the repair everything was handled correctly by two every nice gentlemen.
