Get matched with top aluminum or steel fence installers in Maplewood, MN

"For the amount of fence we were getting, the price seemed steep but similar to others. We actually received a quote elsewhere that was a few thousand more dollars for an aluminum instead of steel fence. The quality of the fence is great and they did a nice job with install. It does seem that there is a lack of communication within the company, though. When we had the first person come out and quote us, we told him everything we were looking for, which included our 2 gates to swing IN. They installed one of them to swing out, which isn't a deal breaker, but it isn't ideal for our yard scenario – we have stairs and a hill on the outside of the fence, and the gate swings out almost all the way to the stairs, making it awkward and potentially dangerous to come in and out of. We also never knew when they would be arriving to do each stage of the process (it is apparently 3 stages), so we had poles in our yard for over a week, not knowing when they would be back and arriving without warning. We then had a fence without gates for several days, again not knowing when they would be back to finish or if they thought they were finished."

"My wife and I had an excellent experience working with NextDayFences on a complex fencing project that included vinyl, aluminum, and chain link fencing, an automatic driveway gate, and brick pillars. Dave, the owner, was very respectful of our vision, reviewed progress after every milestone, and worked hard to make our vision a reality. All of the workers were nice and respectful of our property. We are thrilled with the results and highly recommend NextDayFences for any fencing needs."

"I do not generally write reviews unless I'm swayed towards disappointment or extreme satisfaction. To the readers, this review is completely on the satisfaction side of the fence. No pun intended, but fits!!!! LOL I am not affiliated in any fashion with Top Notch Co. and only submit a review as a customer with my opinion. I hired Top Notch in 2004 to build a cedar fence that was 371 linear feet with 52 posts containing three gates. I only point this out as it wasn't a small job in 2004 and I still remember the numbers with the big job it was! That cedar fence was beautiful and lasted two decades providing a place for the pets to hang out and gave us home owners privacy to a path that exists beyond. Fast forwarding 20 years, the old fence did its job and needed to be replaced. I called Top Notch and requested a bid to which I received within a day online. I'm not a first bid kind of guy, so I requested over 7 bids from various companies in the area. Several companies came out, showed off products, and did the normal walk of the property. Being an over researcher, I weighed all my options with cost, materials, and credentials. I hope I can tell you to look no further with the research I've already done, but Top Notch Co., is TOP NOTCH!! I requested them to come out for the final bid to make sure the online quote was legit and the numbers never changed. The crew was extremely friendly, hard working, overly punctual (showed a day early), and left no trace behind. The original owner of the company (Rob) came out to greet me as well after last seeing him 20 years ago on the first fence. Thanks to Top Notch for a job done extremely well! -Dave"

"Love the fence and the installers were timely, friendly and professional; you could tell they cared about what they were doing. Office administration needs to work on better communication, and everyone knows that comes from the top down. Good price and our yard, as one of the installers said, "really got a nice facelift" to our property. I recommend them."

"In June Superior Fence and Rail replaced our 30 year privacy fence with privacy vinyl fencing. We had excellent experience with this company from Trisha the Sales Representative, Cassie the Office Manager to the installation team. They were all very professional and knowledgeable. The tear down and install took one day. It looks beautiful and I’ve gotten compliments. I have chain link fencing that needs replacing soon and I will hire them again. I would definitely recommend Superior Fence and Rail."

"I called Twin City Handyman to take down and remove approximately 30 feet of wooden fence that surrounded what was formerly my dog pen. They responded promptly by getting a man out the next day. The man, Kody, was extremely polite and friendly. Kody, was a no mess around kind of worker. I appreciated that. Thank you Kody. Thank you Twin City Handyman"

"The install and training went smooth! Answering all my questions! And follow up to ensure all going well! Would totally recommend Hidden Fence!!"

"Ridgeline Fence and Deck were amazing to work with. They made the process of getting a nice fence installed seamless. I was able to have all my questions answered in a timely manner. They use quality materials, & the building crew was efficient and had very kind customer service."

"The project went very well.  Storm damage caused by two trees coming down on two sides of the fence was repaired in 2-3 hours.  The workers reviewed all needed work from the estimate prior to beginning the work.  They even volunteered to replace a top rail from another section of the fence, not included in the estimate, that had been bent in a storm many years before.   The workers were very thorough, did not damage any plants or grass around the damaged areas and cleaned up after themselves.  The workers were knowledgeable and polite.   They made sure everything was nice and straight!  Everything looked very nice when they were finished.  The workers were approximately an hour late from the start time I had been given.  I called and was told they had gotten a late start.  Their good work made up for the lateness.

"Good! Rich (salesman) was great...honest, prompt, professional and friendly. Price was excellent but had to wait longer for installation than many other vendors...my choice to wait. However, we waited longer than reasonable for project completion. Many reasons given for delay. Owner (Jake) installed fence and did an excellent job when installed."
