After discussing with Chris over the phone and stating that if a honeycomb was present I did not want to do a repair but rather just remove the honeycomb, there was no mention that if the honeycomb was present that the bees would have to be exterminated. (If I was calling to have several bees removed wouldn’t it be given that a honeycomb is present?) The person that came did not seem equipped to take them alive and left several hundred dead bees on the floor of my shed without cleanup.
