But the results were returned quickly and, in the case where the home had high radon levels, a detailed proposal for a radon mitigation system was also provided. I was very pleased in both cases. The plumber found the shut-off valves inoperable and began replacing them without telling me about it or the additional cost. I should have looked over his shoulder more often and asked more questions, but I did not. Any repairman beginning additional repairs without asking really rubs me the wrong way and leads to a "B" rating at best and a "No" on hiring again. Learn from my mistake: make certain that you do your research on pricing and agree on a price range and scope of work with Geiler (or anyone, for that matter) before they begin the work."

"Overall, I would give then a grade of a "C". System was installed, but lacking in attention to detail. 1) PVC Pipes were installed at angles (not perpendicular or horizontal). 2) Plastic bucket lid used as cover for hole in concrete. Seemed unprofessional... 3) RTV sealant used for everything...seems like a company that has been doing this for this long would have standard PVC trim pieces for their systems so that it would look more professional. 4) Extra unneeded holes drilled through brick wall, filled with RTV sealant... The only real plus is that the work was completed on-time and on-budget."
