Small jobs welcome

"The people of Waterworks of Delmarva are great people to work with. First, The Owner Bob Short came to my home to give me an estimate on a 44' x 15' patio, steps off of my rear slider, firepit installation, and remove mulch and replace with decorative stone. He gave me the quote on the spot and guaranteed the price, which was very reasonable. Bob is very professional and awesome to work with. Seven days later they started the job. The job was completed in approximately seven days. They were at my home until the job was completed. The two gentlemen that completed the work were fantastic. They were professional and friendly. They paid attention to every detail and are very thorough. I never had to say anything to them, they completed the job exactly how I wanted it done. I am very pleased and happy with the entire process. All three gentlemen were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Waterworks of Delmarva. I would certainly use them again!!!"

"I had several places where drywall or plaster had to be patched. The handyman arrived on time and was very thorough. He was also pleasant to talk to. My only complaint was the price - it seemed high for this type of work."

"Well, the company did not replace the large tree that bloomed. They fired the best man they had...horticulturist. AND they started doing a poorer and poorer job of "maintenance" even though they took my money every month. I finally switched. And am happier for it."

"I contacted LandArt Associates to provide a quote for patio and retaining wall work. From the initial consultation to final inspection Christian, Chuck and crew were professional, careful, and attentive. It was particularly helpful that Christian listened to my goals, both aesthetic and financial, and kept them in mind throughout the whole process.
The crew was able to finish my project in about 5 days. They were on-site every day and never left the property littered or unnecessary dirty. The crew was polite and respectful.
I am completely satisfied with LandArt Associates. If I have any projects in the future; I have no concerns about contacting them."

"The price is good and it’s real competitive. He shows up with about 12, 15 20 people, they come in like a swarm of ants. A few years ago he painted my house, the whole house, and replaced all wood that needed replacing. They’d just come in and do the whole thing. And they’re usually doing two or three jobs in the neighborhood at the same time. I feel total confidence in his climber, the guy that goes up the top of the tree and cuts off pieces and drops them down. They’ve never injured anyone. This tree he cut down in my neighbor’s yard, I have about an eight-foot fence around my backyard because the guy that used to own the house had big dogs, they dropped these big, huge logs down and if any one of them had hit the fence it would have taken it down. I’ve seen him cut trees and drop them between two houses. I have total confidence in his work, he’s really good. If I called Bobby up right now and told him I had to have a tree cut in the next couple of days, then he would be here. I would definitely use him again in the future if I needed to."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Marion Station, MD

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
