"We had an emergency repair necessary on our sump pump. We were contacted by the company within 30 minutes of requesting the job on Angie's List in the evening. They were out promptly the next morning and took care of our problem quickly and efficiently. I will be using them in the future for any future plumbing issues that may arise."

"Contractor arrived on time, Was professional. Listened to our problem. Investigated under the house and gave us 3 ways they could fix the problem. We chose the one that made the most sense. They left to get the part and came back promptly and fixed the switch. Very impressed with this company. Will definitely recommend this contractor and we purchased their friends and family program. The cost was very reasonable. I am looking forward to getting in the jetted tub tomorrow. Extremely happy"

"?????⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I called in LATE on a FRIDAY afternoon. APRIL enthusiastically answered, FIRST ring, & I explained the awful noise from my sump pump. She got me on the next day's schedule. Saturday! I gave her the specs of the unit & she calmly took notes for the technician. Jimmy texted on his way, arrived timely & had all the necessary parts stocked in the truck! He completed the changeout in record time & accepted credit card payment. The entire process couldn't have went any smoother! The new Zoeller unit runs so quiet, I don't hear it at all in the house. After seeing the shooting plume of water, I informed Craig the SM & his followup exceeded my expectations. Great team to work with; excellent service, fair price! Ten Stars!"

"when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"

"They are very good, and very prompt.  They came to do the work the day after I called them.  About three years ago, they put the pump in for me, so it was under warranty but I had to pay for the labor for them to pull it out and replace it.  We will continue to use them in the future. "

"I contracted Level Home Services through Costco for a full A/C and furnace replacement and have been satisfied with their service at every point so far. The initial inspection to get a quote was extremely thorough and informative, and they gave me several options at different price points, all of which beat the other vendors I was looking at. When it was time to actually complete the work, the technicians were prompt, professional, helpful, and courteous. After 2 full days of work, they walked me through everything they did in detail and answered all my questions. By the time they left, the only sign anyone had been here was the shiny new equipment in my basement and yard -- no mess/dirt anywhere (except my own). It was a big job so it was pricey, but definitely money well spent and I would not hesitate to hire them again."

"Not impressed.  Wish I had not switched companies. <br>My old company did not insist I have a sediment filter but I can see the logic of it so installed one.  They charged $295 for the 10" big blue filter and $275 for installation along with a dual tank water softener (which is approximately $41 per mo.)   <br> <br>The installation seemed to be fine. Didn't notice the big improvement in water quality they seemed to indicate I would get.  However, after two weeks my water began smelling like rotten eggs (I test negative for sulphur but seems like it may be sulphur reducing bacteria?--cant get an answer).  I asked for a tech to come out to check why and they sent a person who had no real knowledge of the equipment or issues and could not answer any of my questions so I wasted a day off for nothing.  I could not get a satisfactory answer from the salesperson so I was stuck trying to find a way to eliminate the smell by searching the internet.  I still am working with various filters to resolve it.  <br> <br>After the installation, my water sounded like it was running all the time but because of my hearing difficulty I could not pinpoint where it was coming from exactly so I assumed it was the water softener. Upon receiving a  very high electric bill and noticing a stream of hot water coming out of the outside drain pipe, I realized my hot water heater was running all the time and the release valve was partly open.  The plumber said there is a good chance that the installers accidentally opened the hot water release valve during the installation.  I understand that can happen in such close quarters but just wish I had known sooner because I could have saved several hundred dollars had I known right away. <br> <br>Today I called for a salt delivery.  They only deliver one day a week and won't give an expected appointment time.  I would have to take a full day off to accept the delivery when they show up.  REALLY?  In this day and age, you can't do better than this?  I can just hear my boss now when I tell him I need to be home to accept a salt delivery. <br> <br>I will complete one year of the contract and nothing more.  Not impressed. <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br>"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Marion Station, MD

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
