"This started as a relatively small repair, complicated by some water damage over the years. Required replacing two sheets of plywood, ice and water barrier, shingles, removal and reinstall of the vinyl and fascia. Tar Star was upfront with their suspicions and analysed the situation correctly. As it turned out later, they were correct with their predictions. The root cause was improperly installed shingles in one section of the roof, which were cut too short, which caused the water and ice accumulating under, eventually making its way to the board and rotting it out. The job took one day overall, split up in two parts, Sunday and Monday. I provided part of the material (shingles). The actual cost was in the estimated range. Tar Star provided good recommendations, conducted the repair efficiently, without unnecessary work or upsell, focusing on quality, longevity, and cost efficiency. I know I will have to replace the roof at some point, probably when installing solar equipment. This bought me a few more years for my old roof, which is what I wanted. Overall, nice guys. Recommended!"

"On Top Roofing was great. Tim came to quote the work and asked what I wanted and offered excellent suggestions. He wanted to vent two bathroom fans out through the roof to reduce the moisture buildup in the attic. No other roofer even mentioned it. He also wanted to replace all drip edges and re-led the chimney. Several others wanted to reuse the exiting drip edges and led. Given all that his price was still very good. The job took two days. His crew was efficient and the roof looks great. There was a supervisor (Mike) on the job the entire time who ensured everything went well. They had one guy who did nothing but clean up constantly. So the yard and surrounding area was always clean. When they left they swept, rakes and picked up everything. Very professional and courteous team in the field and in the office (thanks Kelsey). All this and a 10 year workmanship warranty!!!"

"Hired Hennelly & Son to remove and replace roofs on house and detached garage. Also had some small repairs, gutter cleaning and minor gutter repair work done. Joe Jr. handled the job with his crew of 10 in one day. They arrived as advertised at 7AM and completed the job by 4:45PM. It was obvious that they all knew what they were doing and that they worked well together. Everyone in the crew was friendly and polite. They were careful to not damage any part of the property and their cleanup after the job was done was excellent. I have only good things to say about young Joe and his crew. "We had Power do our Roof and Gutters on our 120 year old home. This is our first big project on our new house and Power made the experience great. Their were a couple of hiccups but Power was able to rectify the situations. The project was supposed to be a 2 day project, but when taking the old shingles off they noticed the roof decking needed to be repaired because of significant wood rot. They finished the total project in 4 days. Power met every expectation. One part of the process that was a little frustrating was that I didn’t have one point person to talk to if I had questions. I had multiple project managers but I did get all my questions answered when I called. We would definitely recommend them to anyone."

"I contacted Kevin the morning after the storm, as soon as we were aware of the problem with our roof. He had a crew at our house that afternoon. They completed the repair efficiently and cleaned up thoroughly. We had some spare shingles left over from when the roof was put on originally, and they were able to save us money by using the materials we had. "Can't say enough good about Ken, Nancy and the Cook's Roofing crew. <br /> I received estimates from 4 other companies, all varying in price.  One company was clearly not interested and was priced much too high.  The company was concerned about the number of angles on the roof and the amount of roofing waste/etc....and this was reflected in the price.  Another company was only interested in replacing the roof.  The other 2 companies quoted the complete project.  These other 2 companies recommended additional roof venting and suggested adding surface mount vents to the roof.  Ken also recommended additional venting but was the only contractor that pointed out that mixing soffit and roof vents is not a good idea (certainteed actually recommends against doing this).  Ken was the only contractor that went into the attic to inspect roof/venting/etc.... Ken's estimate was better than the other estimates (for the complete job). Ken's crew showed up ontime and worked vigilantly on the project.  Workmanship is excellent.  Ken's crew were a pleasure to have at the house. The house/yard was left picked up/clean. Ken followed up after the work was complete to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction.  Ken also makes a return trip in 5 years to ensure all is still OK.  Final result, in every aspect, looks great and we are very satisfied.  I highly recommend Cook's Roofing. <br />"

"Overall, quite good. I'd rate the work and the primary workers (Konner and Nick) as excellent. Only time will tell regarding the results (deal with some tricky spots on the roof where ice damming was happening and water was coming in), but the process was excellent. Konner was in constant contact; I knew exactly where they were in the process and what the various decision points were. The only reason that I did not give a 5 is that I did not love the sales process. Their prices are relatively high (that's okay--I think they do good work, and I understand that materials are expensive at the moment), and I felt that we were being pressured to spend lots of money on big, expensive jobs--something we were not in a good position to do."
