"Last fall, I set out to replace an aging oil fired boiler with a modern gas fired unit. I bought the boiler itself and laid out and fitted most of the plumbing, but I still needed help with the gas piping and the final reconnection of the new and old systems.

He even loaned me some of his tools -- very large pipe wrenches and an invaluable pipe vise -- that are needed to deal with large black iron pipe, and taught me the best ways to assemble sections of black iron.
