"From the very first meeting at our home to discuss the scope of the project, we were impressed with their professionalism and knowledge. Their quote was competitive, (within five percent of other proposals), and the materials Pennings used for the job were, in some cases, superior. They were patient with us as we tweaked the design multiple times. We were delighted at the creativity and inspiration their architect provided to our project. Careful attention was paid to insuring the addition looked like it was part of the original design of the home, and it shows! The architect gave us multiple options to choose from, one of which even decreased the footprint without compromising design or our priorities, and actually reduced costs. We were involved in every decision, whether small or large, and we had the freedom to make adjustments along the way. If any concerns arose with sub-contractors, we only had to communicate with Pennings and any issues were handled immediately. We chose to take on some of the work ourselves to reduce the overall cost of the project, and there were no objections. In fact, our project manager often provided advice to us or lent a hand when possible. Pennings has been a delight to work with. From start to finish, it was an exceptionally positive experience and we are thrilled with the outcome."

"Dan Molnar tested me shortly after I messaged through Angie's list. Very courteous. Within a few days i had a quote that was better than I had expected. A little over 4 weeks later and everything is done and to a level of quality that honestly exceeded my expectations. The crew who did the concrete were polite and professional, the slab is smooth (they apologized for it not being better- the weather wasn't great but it looks perfect to me) and they cleaned up everything- including excess concrete piles. Their carpenter built custom doors for the previously unfinished and irregular entrance and they are of very good quality down to the hardware. I have dealt with many contractors before and without exaggeration this is the best company I have ever dealt with. I recommend them highly."

"Biggest scam I e ever experience. The charged me 40k after interest to fix my sagging foundation, and fix my flooding crawl space. After an impressive sales pitch I signed the contract and had them do the ?work?. dusing the sales pitch they told me they would level my floors, and install equipment to prevent my crawl space from flooding every year. They explained this will be a multiple day project and I would have to rip up my floor to give the access to the foundation. So I ripped up my floor, and had them come in to do the work. They were in and out in about 4 hours, and left me with still sagging floors. after Getting in the crawl space myself I discovered that multiple of the jacks that they installed to lift the foundation, weren?t even touching the joists. And to this day, my crawl space still floods with a foot of water every spring. I contacted Ayer?s to see what can be done, they offered no compensation, and no help. If you?re planning to hire Ayer?s, dont"
