"During this past winter the ice-dams on our roof were out of control.  Damage from these dams caused damage within our home. I called On Top Roofing when the water began to come through our ceilings on the first floor.  I did what I could to break up the ice-dams but at 69 years old it became too much for me.  I went straight to Angie's List to find a roofer.  I knew I was preparing for a very difficult time getting some one because everyone was having the same problem as I.  I found On Top Roofing and called. I was so upset when calling that I was not sure if I had even given my number.  It was not long and I received a call from Time, he sent two men to my home within the hour to break through the dams. I was so happy to get this service so quickly knowing that his company must be working day and night to help others.  When the weather calmed and the snow almost gone Tim returned to determine what we could do to prevent this from happening again.  Thank goodness we did not need a new roof.  The repairs and updated materials were what we needed.  He also gave good advice for next winter.  (We need to purchase a  new ladder with a greater reach and a 27 foot roof rake.)   When the crew arrived they were very professional and worked non stop.  It took one day and just perhaps 1-1/2 hours the following day.  All debris was cleaned up and taken away.  I am very pleased with Tim, his crew and the great job they did.  The cost was on point.    I would recommend On Top Roofing to anyone who wants quality work and Professionalism. <br />"

Everyone I dealt with from Johnny the roof specialist/salesman, to Katie in the office and to Steve and his install crew were very professional and provided great customer service. I called very late in the year (late Nov) with a leak on a 20 year old roof that was getting towards the end of its life and they went the extra mile to come right out for an assessment and quick repair as that time of year it's usually tough to get a job like that done on short notice. I decide to be proactive and get on their spring schedule for a full replacement and they ended up squeezing me in a few weeks later as weather had cooperated. "Waterman Building & Remodeling is one of the best home repair companies I have worked with. Sales Rep Andy Cannon came over to the house to provide a complete estimate and to provide a brochure on all the various colors available. We were interested in a certain color, and Jenny Schermerhorn sent over pictures and addresses of work they had done using that color shingle. We agreed to the price, which I found very reasonable, and were put on the schedule on 4/14. We were told they were about 8 weeks out so to expect a call in early June, about a week before our appt. They called to tell us they would be over on June 13th. Materials were dropped off shortly after that call. The day of the appointment came, and the crew was here first thing in the morning. Everything was covered properly, and work began. Foreman kept us in the loop as to what was going on. Very nice guy who I loved chatting with. Work was completed in the afternoon, and a thorough cleanup was done using magnets to ensure no loose roofing nails were in the yard. Its been four months since the roof was replaced, and we have had many storms with heavy winds and rain since then with absolutely no issues with the roof."

"It went very well.  The owner, Richard Farina, suggested using an "architectural" shingle, which is heavier and should last for 30 years as opposed to 20 for most other types of shingle.  They installed Grace ice and water shield up to a distance that we requested. <br /> <br /> We had one small leak this past storm on the front porch from the front corner of our bedroom dormer.  They were very responsive and came back the same day called and applied additional caulking between the roof shingles and the siding shingles, where a gap had been created.  I was pleased with their prompt responsiveness."
