Day of job, after assuring me no jackhammer would be used, a 'jackhammer- sounding' piece of equipment was used. Neighbors were upset in townhome cluster, no one was warned, all @7:15am. (Oscar had said he would "cut and lift sections of old sidewalk only. I stepped out to see how things looked, and realized the entryway concrete pad immediately outside my front door was damaged in several spots, with cracks and gaps. He started talking very fast, saying,"don't worry, I 'll fix that, make it pretty again!" Said he would return to fix. On return,became very loud, angry, lunged, shouting, red in face. Nothing repaired. Only the project was done, not damage he caused. and he was paid in full. My son overheard his angry remarks, but Oscar left. I told him he went back on his word, and I don't accept people shouting at me"

"Initial rep was great and informative. Felt comfortable with initial sale. Hardly had any contact from customer service except for the payments. There were several delays that we were not informed about unless we called to ask. Took 7 months before they showed up to begin project. Only 1 person was sent to build steps. Took a week. Hard worked, hardly took a break. Had to call again to see when they would come to pour patio. Never knew when they were coming, they just showed up. Hardly spoke with the homeowners. Inspection paperwork was just left on porch. Additional paperwork that is "required by the County" had to be completed by homeowner and taken to Court house to be notarized and filed and also provide a copy back to Long Fence. Time sensitive materials which added to homeowners to-do list. Gave this contract to LF on the surface of their history and appearance of a 'good local company' but should have stayed with original contactors in VA. Puddle of water forms when it rains"
